beautiful location, nicely isolated. Staff helpful and friendly.First room a bit disappointing -quite small and in need of update, but comfortable enough. Fortunately we found out on arrival that we were already down for a free upgrade. Upgraded room with sea view was terrific. Breakfast very good -quality ingredients freshly cooked to order. Dinner also very good -Frito Misto was... More

Fantastic breakfast. The rooms are in need of some upgrading. Not sure how it can be classified a 4 star hotel (must be the sea views), one star most definitely fell off some time ago...... Booked a double room, given a twin, apparently that's classified also as a double, according to the staff! After asking to change rooms the staff... More

Stayed at the Prince for 4 nights to attend family function. No complaints at all. Room and bathroom were clean and bright, plenty of storage. Breakfast was outstanding with staff catering for our large party with so many different requests. Lunch on the terrace overlooking the fabulous beach was excellent. Despite a group of 11 adults and 5 children service... More

We stayed in the self catering apartment on the top floor. Entry to the apartment is through the staff area/bedrooms, which are far from clean. The apartment itself has amazing views and is well decorated, but it was very dirty, every surface was sticky to the touch, tables, floors, etc. The bedding didn't have any protector covers. The shower was... More

Have eaten here a few times and on the time before last the service was really bad. Each course took an absolute age with no explanation or apology. Last weekend we had family over and though we'd give the place one more try but the service was just as bad. The restaurant was quiet but again the food took ages.... More

I met up with a group of friends here and stayed only three nights. The hotel is in a perfect location overlooking the beach, with lovely coastal walks on its doorstep.A much better option than the busier capital. A taxi took me from the ferry to the hotel for £20, but it was worth every penny to be in such... More

My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, we hired a car and had no problems with parking on the free car park across from the hotel .The reception was very friendly and we were upgraded to the penthouse apartment on arrival which has lovely views of the sea, we spotted dolphins and watched the fishing... My report covers the restaurant only, as I stay with family when visiting the Island ! Five of us, including one five year old had an early dinner overlooking the beach and sea on a lovely Spring evening. This is not a cheap restaurant with daily specials costing from £17.50 to £25.00 for a good size lobster. However, the service... More

Four days of peace and quiet. We went with friends to a shooting competition, and this hotel is ideally situated - between two ranges. The isolated beauty of the bay can't be overemphasised, it really is ideal for families without having the usual overcrowding. The rooms are very well presented, and the service is excellent - including shuttles to and... More
