Enviable position with room over looking the patio to the beach which makes one forgive the hotel for being a little run down, the rooms could have been cleaner and the restaurant food was reasonably priced but quite basic. A fairly pleasant three day stay which was regretfully spoiled by a themed function on the Saturday afternoon and evening, reveler's... More

Having read other reviews I was expecting this hotel to be head and shoulders up above the rest, but I was to be slightly disappointed!! When we arrived we had to ring the bell 3 times before anyone came, when they did arrive there was no apology, we were told that they were busy,(well I am also a paying guest)... More

What a fantastic location at this friendly guest house. We had a sea view room which opened up onto a shared balcony. I believe there were 5 rooms opening onto the balcony , but only 4 tables and chairs which was a bit disconcerting upon throwing open the curtains on the first morning to find our neighbour sitting right outside... Stayed two nights. Large room and en suite clean but with dated décor and furniture. Bed small and not very comfortable. Bonus was large shared balcony with furniture to relax on enjoying a drink and the magnificent views. Ate here first evening but disappointed in standard of fish and pork dishes we chose. Breakfasts better, full English cooked fresh to... More

We chose the Prince of Wales for our wedding reception, because of the location primarily. Add to this the fabulous food and friendly staff, we could not have chosen better. We had 60 guests and chose the buffet option. It was amazing, fresh prawns and crab claws, cold meats, salads, three different types of hot food followed by a selection... More

We spent 3 nights here and the results were mainly good but with drawbacks. Location is excellent. Greve De Lecq is a good beach location on the North Coast and much better in my opinion than staying at St Helier (providing you have your own car as we did). We had paid extra for a sea view room and the... More

The location is the main selling point - it is well worth paying the extra for the sea view rooms with shared guest patio - we loved sitting out and watching the boats and beach. The bed isn't enormous and could really do with a bigger duvet as mentioned by other reviewers - it wasn't cold whilst we were there... More

This excellent pub and hotel is not cutting edge boutique-style but rather a warm and welcoming old-style place which is spotlessly clean and homely. Rooms are smallish (double bed, not King) but there is plenty of drawer space and a wardrobe for your clothes and other accoutrements, TV, ironing boar, tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryer but no... This is the fourth time we have visited this Pub/Guest House on the North coast of Jersey and there have been a number of subtle but important improvements. The Prince of Wales is situated in Greve du Lecq which is on the North coast of Jersey about 10mins from the airport. There is free parking across from the hotel and... More
