I'm really glad we choose this beach to stay at during our visit to Koh Rong. Danni is a great host and the unexploited nature is amazing. Highly recommended unless you're looking for a variety of restaurants or a party place

Our weekend here was one of the highlight of our trip to Cambodia. The place was so beautiful. The beach was perfect - long, clean, white sand with turquoise water. There was another beach few minutes walk away with great snorkeling. The dorm was minimalistic but ideal, waking up to listening to the wildlife noises was amazing. The food was delicious,... More

We stayed one week (ending December 2014) with our children at the Lonely Beach ; The facts are quite simple and can be summarized in four points: 1-An absolutely fabulous natural setting, a transparent turquoise sea, and you are indeed alone in the world !! 2-A general structure that could be great but completely lacks expertise and minimum investment to... Hi I am happy u had the same concerns like I did. Now as the new owner we work a lot on all and more points you mention. The restaurant is totally renewed. The bungalows got some love. And the whole place is getting more beautiful than before. Thank you for concerning. Save travels. Nils More

I stayed at lonely beach 5 nights, and I was planning only 2 :) but I just didn't want to leave this heavenly place. As a single traveller I stayed in the dormitory (8$) : a wonderful open air hut on stilts just a little off from the beach, where I woke up with sunrise and to the sounds of... More

Where do I start? I have just left Lonely Beach today. What a beautiful place. Photographs do not do the place justice. It is truly gorgeous. After travelling around South East Asia for two months, my boyfriend and I needed a break to relax, get away from the world and collect ourselves. We certainly did that. Stunning beach, hardly any... We visited lonely beach for three nights, staying in the rustic dorm. What a brilliant experience. Firstly Nils was extremely efficient at contacting us via email, he even sent us a copy of the food menu in advance and made sure we knew where to catch the boat. The dorm was on stilts and it felt like we were really... More

Lonely beach really is something special. Words can't do it justice!! The beach is unspoilt and so peaceful. Soft white sand, hammocks and palm trees. The sunsets and snorkelling are magical. Nils the owner is so friendly, helpful and kind. The staff have great fun together and the atmosphere is wonderful. The food - wow!! Fresh and tasty and their... More

Stayed in the private bungalows with a friend and wish we could have stayed longer. This beach is definitely "lonely" as it's the only hotel in the area. It is extremely peaceful, surrounded by beautiful jungle, wonderful snorkeling and stunning sunsets. It is very basic and may not be a good choice for those expecting more, but it is exactly... We stayed for 3 nights in a beach-viee bungalow at Lonely Beach Resort, and what shall I say it is a little paradise. The rates are fair, food is good, the staff is incredibly nice and most importantly, it is probably the most beautiful and relaxing beach I have ever been to. Even though the resort was fully booked (there... More

We loved this place! If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. There are only few bungalows so it's never crowded. Bungalows are basic, you'll find mosquito nest over your bed, khmer-style bathroom and nice terrace with hammocks! :) Food in the restaurant is good, prices are a little bit higher than in the...
