stayed in lonely beach for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! The most secluded and remote paradise. Very basic but beautiful. Definitely recommend it! This place is just so peaceful and worth visiting. It definitely needs to be supported. Please share and come visit.

my girlfriend and I were lounging the beach at sihanoukville when a french gentleman came up to us talking about a lonely beach in a secluded island. he showed us a few photos and we were instantly interested in checking it out. he then mentioned that he was part owner of 8 bungalows and it was 20 bucks a night... TOTALLY a MUST to visit!! the beach was so clean!!!! but please rmb to put on your insects repellent before you head down to the beach as i had VERY VERY VERY bad sandflies bites all over my legs and hands. (and sadly theres lots of scare too). other than that, its a paradise island!

The place is basic, rustic, but beautiful. The last day we had a full day of sunshine and it looked like paradise. There are 8 bungalows in total, so you have the beach almost for your own. Dani (the co owner) is super friendly. You can do some decent snorkeling. We did a hike through the jungle with Nils (the... More

It's not for everyone but if it's for you it is as best as it gets. Lonely beach seems like a reminder from the time that backpacking was still analogue. Danny's bungalows are very basic and rustic. No running water, no wifi, no charging your iPhone/iPad/etc in your room. The Electricity is solar, so when it's cloudy there is very... More

Be prepared to be truly isolated on Lonely Beach. My partner and I came here for two nights hoping for a romantic getaway from the busy cities of Southeast Asia, however Lonely Beach unfortunately didn't live up to our expectations. The location is stunning, the beach has warm clear waters, the bungalows are clean but quite basic and if you... More

What a wonderful place. Even though it rained during much of our visit, the beach was unbelievably beautiful. We swam with the iridescent plankton, walked through the jungle to the local village, and spent a lot of time relaxing either at the beach, at the restaurant, or on the porch of our bungalow. The restaurant and bungalow were basic, with... More

We were here in July 2013 and absolutely loved it. After the 5 hour boat ride from the dock in Sianoukville (and a few failed attempts at finding the right place to meet the boat driver), you find yourself in paradise. It was unlike anything we've ever done before and it was perfect. It is not built up, there is... More

I loved this place from the moment we crash landed the dinghy to shore, sending my backpack into the turquoise water. Luckily Dani, the French owner, had swum out to the main boat a few minutes earlier, a special bag strapped to his tanned body. "Put your valuables in here in cases we capsize, the sea is choppy today". We... More

Lonely beach is a unique and magical place. You are right on the edge of the jungle and you have a beautiful beach just for (almost) yourself. Dani is the nicest guy that will help you with everything and you can notice all the love and work he has put in the place (and the garden :)) The bungalows are... More
