A lovely Sunday lunch food very good, service very friendly,a nice cosy little country inn we have eaten here a few times now and the food is always very good can't wait to return. The Christmas beer was excellent. It's best to book in advance as it is very popular with tourists and locals

Excellent value for money, very friendly staff, clean well appointed room. Well located for both Brecon and the surrounding area. We didn't have dinner as we ate at the wedding but the Welsh Breakfast was good and the pub meals menu looked appetising.

We stayed here on Saturday night after our friends wedding in Peterstone Court (it could not be any closer that if you stayed at Peterstone Court itself). In fact, the owner even gave us a lift to Peterstone court so we didnt have to walk the short distance in the rain or get a taxi! Our room was clean, tidy... More

We were here last week for Sunday lunch. We have a fussy eater , who did not want a child's Sunday roast. The waitress was very accommodating and provided him with two small sausages and two roast potatoes .however, it wasn't until we got home that we had been charged £4.95 for the above, far too much by anyone's standards!... Thank you for your kind review ,there must have been a misunderstanding about the child meal as we do offer children who won't eat roast meats an option of sausage with mash, roast or new potatoes .There is also a large dish of 5 fresh vegetables sent with all our dinners but we were not aware your child didn't want... Small Inn on the main A40 between Brecon and Abergavenny in the middle of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Great views on the mountains from the beer garden and some of the rooms. The rooms are quite small but have en-suite facilities and are clean. The mattress in room 1 was very creaky getting in and out but otherwise fine.... More

Stayed at The Old Ford Inn for walking in the Brecons, Lovely clean, comfortable place to stay with friendly staff, and customers. Breakfast was just what we wanted either full Welsh or something a little lighter, we always went for the full works!

Stopped here with my Mother after horse riding in August and the view was fantastic! The food was superb and the staff were very friendly and efficient. I visit this area a lot, and will definitely be making a return should I get the opportunity!

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch here. Lunch is British traditional roast at its best. It also has the advantage of offering senior smaller portions for the over 60s. Plenty of decent home cooked veg and delicious gravy. Booking essential. Great staff and owners. Great views of the Brecon Beacons too.

We've just had an amazing meal, the staff were friendly & welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. As soon as we went through the door we had that feeling that it would be lovely. We had large portions for reasonable price. We will be revisiting soon & booking a room. Our expectations were exceeded. Thanks guys
