Stopped for a cream tea on my first day. Lovely setting to watch the world go by. Beautiful home made scones, with scrumptious jam and cream and very friendly welcome. Selection of cakes were vast, including range if tea. Perfect place to stop.

Wye Knot Stop is a simply wonderful place to stay. The owner Sue, goes out of her way to make every element of ones stay as easy and pleasant as possible. Booking arrangements are simple and straightforward and numerous off-road parking spaces are available on arrival. The rooms are separate from the owners accommodation so offer a tremendous degree of... More

A warm welcome by Sue who was the perfect hostess. The room- family room, had TV, good choice of teas and other drinks incl bottled water. Room had bath and shower with a selection of toiletries on offer. The room was spotlessly clean, if a little dated. The breakfast was beautifully cooked. On corner opposite pub which was perfect for... More

Despite my short stay there I cannot fault the attention and welcoming I received. She went out of her way to help me and i cannot thank her enough for helping me out in my hour of need. I would definitely recommend staying there and I would love to go back soon. Murphy my dog loved the attention he received... More

Sue was a very warm and welcoming hostess along with her able assistant Beth. We happened across this lovely B&B after a long days drive and couldn't have been happier. We had to travel a few extra miles after running into thousands of 'show' visitors leaving Builth Wells and we decided we wouldn't even attempt looking in that immediate area.... More

Stayed for five nights, Sue could not have been more accommodating. Very laid back yet efficient, rooms very clean and comfortable. Attentive to needs of guests and very reasonable rates. Dog friendly but not at the expense of guests that may not be so dog friendly. Could not fault anything and I would highly recommend this B&B if in the... More

We spend two nights in this very nice B&B. The room was large enough for double bed and 2 singles beds, not much space then, but normal for a family room. En-suite bathroom was good. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, with a large choice: cereals, yogurts, juice, pastries, fruit salad or fruit, coffee/tea/chocolate, hot plate... More

We enjoyed staying here as we explored the Wye River Valley. Very comfortable and friendly. Good breakfasts! And very hospitable, helpful hostess (Sue). Wet weather, and therefore muddy paths, put a damper on our plans for more serious walking. Sue gave us several good ideas for other sight-seeing and less ambitious walks. So we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We were gasping for a cuppa and a break from the traffic and decided to pull in, toffee apple fudge cake plus ice cream with a tea and a coffee...... absolute bliss!! The owner also kindly gave us directions to somewhere that we could walk the dog away from the traffic, thank you ever so much!!
