Very relaxing stay. Well furnished in a traditional way. A lot of the furniture were genuine antiques. Traditional cooked breakfast but cereal, fruit and yoghurt available. This place was very clean and was a very enjoyable place to stay, the 20 minute walk to york was not an issue . I would stay here again and again

We stayed in the B&B a couple of nights and I would not recommend it or stay there again. It seems the B&B does not offer a continental breakfast at all!!! There is only a choice of cereals or a fry-up; so if you don't/can't eat milk like me and if you do not fancy a cooked breakkie you are... More
