Very clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good food and beer. Excellent service throughout our stay. Ideal base for touring surrounding area. Certainly recommend and look forward to staying here next time we're in this part of Scotland.

Visited the restaurant many times over past 5 years. Recently was end August and start of September. It never fails. The food is simple but plenty of it (what portions!) and beautifully cooked and presented. It states this is not a fast food place and time is taken to cook your meal fresh. It's worth the wait. Staff friendly and... More

We arrived at the hotel around 10am as we had been travelling all night. The owner could not have been more accomodating, providing us with tea and biscuits until the room could be cleaned. The following day the breakfast was freshly cooked and couldn't be faulted. If you are visiting Wick or the surrounding area we would thoroughly recommend.

Whilst kerbside appeal is lacking a warm & genuine welcome awaits in this compact, clean & comfortable privately owned hotel. There is an ongoing refurbishment programme the results of which are apparent indicating a willingness to ensure guests are comfortable. Food plentiful and of a good standard. A credit to Scottish hospitality.

On arrival the hotel looked closed and abandoned; after the many positive reviews on tripadvisor we were a bit upset and ready to search somewhere else, when suddenly the owner appeared. He explained the hotel was in process of renovation but that rooms and restaurant were ready; Indeed, our room was clean and comfortable, the restaurant nice and cosy, breakfast... More

Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Well-appointed accommodation - clean, neat, tidy with everything fully functional (shower, TV etc). Lots of parking space, so none of the city-based "parking angst". Good food with more than enough menu choice for a few days stay. Only drawback for me, as a light sleeper, internal doors are capable of being slammed by inconsiderate... More

Was recommended this from Ann and Robbie Flett at Corrigal B&B - good food and decently priced. Kids thoroughly enjoyed their food and there was enough on the kids menu to please even our pickiest eater! The scampi was lovely and fresh and there was plenty of it. Thank you.
