We stayed for three nights and the hostel was great. It has everything you might need including a laundry. We had two beds in a dorm which was right next to toilets and showers. The bar had 'happy hour' cutting the cost of expensive alcohol in Interlaken! The breakfast was satisfactory for an included breakfast! There's lots of stuff to... More

This is a terrible place to stay if, like me, you simply need somewhere economical and simple to stay. Unless you are interested in meeting young single american girls, it is not suitable. There is loud thumping music ALL night, bad wifi, too crowded and not cheap. Here I have written a review about my time in Interlaken, an amazing... More

We just stayed one night in a private double room while heading to the Alps. The staff was very helpful and room was quaint but surprisingly comfy. The Bathrooms were right outside our door which wasn't a big deal not having our own. The happy hour in the Biergarten was an added bonus! I recommend this place for a cheap... More

The decor of this hostel is very cool (old/rustic) and the ambiance is nice. There's a couple of rooms were you can hang out and have food/drinks. The staff there is super friendly and always ready to help you. There are also a bunch of activities to try around there (canyoning, 4 wheelers, paragliding, hiking, etc), so you won't get... More

Classic place, feels good. Among a lot of hostel this was certainly worth a mention. Had our private room in one small corner. Peaceful. Come back down and you are surrounded by like minded sportive people. Plan, listen, join, be a part of it. Nice breakfast too. And finally it's Swiss, the best place to experience all around by staying... More

I stayed at Balmers this weekend for the Swiss National holidays, and it was the most fun I have had in a while. They offer so many activities like bungy jumping, paragliding, canyoning. Everyone speaks English. Most peole staying in other hostels end up coming to Balmers at night because its where its at!

We stayed here as a couple in a private room during our backpaking trip. It was the best hostel we stayed in. We really liked the friendly relaxed atmosphere, and it was a great place to meet other travellers. Our room was clean and just contained a bed, table and sink. It had a nice chalet feel with the wooden... More

This was my first time in interlaken and I had no idea what to expect and the people at the Balmer tents were very nice and accommodating. They even shared music and some good conversation. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the people were all nice. There were many activities for people to do such as ping pong, a hot... More

Staying at the tent village, the lovely Taz at reception made me feel welcome and made an already beautiful place even more lovely! The tent itself was very comfortable with wooden flooring and soft beds, free use of bikes and hot tub, I love it here, thank you!
