We have visited this quiet little village before but now decided to stay at the only real hotel. Having only 9 rooms, the hotel itself is very quiet but the perfect place to relax. There is a small swimming pool but the sea is literally 100 yards away. Rooms were functional and there was some noise from the neighbours but... More

Know in advance to bring all your toiletries, only small bar of soap is provided.the room is spacious clean and simple as is the bathroom.the view from our balcony is wonderful and sheltered, the place is very quiet for a few days relax away from the main resorts. Plenty of good restaurants but they close early ,a glass of wine on... More

I appreciated my spacious room, the sleep quality and the Ocean view! In my opinion € 100,00 for 2 nights breakfast included in a place like this are well spent. Consider that I haven't seen any other hotels , just private apartments to rent. No bus or boat when I went, December 2014, so the only way to reach the... More

Stayed here for one night as our villa was booked . Very nice clean room overlooking pool. Terrace was fabulous to take in amazing sunset. limited channels on TV if you are interested. Breakfast limited but nicely presented. Fridge provided in room but so noisy it woke us at least five times during the night. definitely needs replacing. Quiet place... More

Stayed for 2 nights, booked with Booking.Com. Upgraded to a pool sea view for an additional €10 per room per night. No 7. Large double bed, spacious room, food sized bathroom. very peaceful. Warm at night despite having the windows open and blind down. Fridge in the room, so great for storing water and beers, which I would recommend you... More

I was really dissapointed about few things: breakfast was very poor, coffee smelled and tasted horrible, lady who served coffee had annoyed expression in face every day. Hot watter in shower lasted 2/3 minutes. Fridge in room was so loud, it was very dificult to sleep.

My father stayed here for a few nights whilst on the island & he could not have been looked after any better. His wish was to stay with a Canarian family & I'm so glad we were able to find this gem of a place as it made his dream come true. Thank you so very much.

El Golfo is a small village far away from the main tourist attractions and therefor a nice and quiet place to be. The streets are ending here so there's no pass through traffic and most likely all visitors wants to enjoy one of the nice fish restaurants situated directly at the sea side offering a wide selection of fresh fish.... This hotel was very much as described, small family run, very clean with simple amenities, but felt it lacked a liitle in atmosphere which meant I would have given it a very good rating rather than average. At night El Golfo shuts down at arount 9pm at least in Feb, and it would have been lovely to have sat in... More
