We were very warmly welcomed by our hostess Sarah. Our room was spacious and very clean with a really lovely shower room and beautiful decor. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the outdoor dining room and had a very peaceful night's sleep afterwards. The breakfast was very substantial and extremely tasty. Great coffee and tea. We really enjoyed the soda... More

I had visited this charming B&B a couple of years ago and was delighted to find that the very high standard of hospitality has been maintained. The owner, Sarah, seems to find no request too much trouble. Each room is different but each nicely dressed with a mixture of old furniture and modern bathrooms. The beds are comfortable with lovely... More

This was the first B & B visited on our stay in France. We stayed in three B & B's over five days & this was the very best. The house was a delightful and artistic mix of old & new. Sarah was the perfect host and provided a great selection of food for breakfast and a wonderful dinner in... More

Sarah's hospitality was very much appreciated after a long journey particularly the welcome glass of bubbly with homemade cassis !! Sarah cooked for us a delicious meal which we ate in the Garden, and provided a more than substantial breakfast at a time suitable for us. Sarah has a beautiful house lovingly restored which we hope to visit again one... More

Sarah is a fantastic host, a great cook and runs a beautiful chambres d'hotes. The rooms and baths are as welcoming as Sarah's smile - all superbly designed with very comfortable beds and lots of hot water. She kindly organised a table for us at the excellent village restaurant over the road one night and cooked us a delicious dinner... More

We enjoyed very much spending two nights with Sarah in early July, she is a generous and hospitable hostess and a very good cook. We had dinner with her one night which was really wonderful, sitting outside in the garden enjoying the late evening light. The second night we asked Sarah for a suggestion in the area and were very... More

We used Le Chaton rouge as a stop over when travelling to Cognac. The house is well presented and our room was very comfortable and quiet. Sarah looked after us well, we were welcomed with sparkling wine and snacks in the garden on our arrival. We opted for the evening meal which was great, three courses plus cheese and plenty... More
