After living in the Northern Territory for 21 years, finally got to visit this awesome little pub yesterday. A very interesting little place, worth the trip. Great characters, friendly folk, stopped for lunch and a few peaceful hours. Can't wait to go back and do the free camping and free barbecue at the end of the month.

I was fortunate enough to be in the area for the May 2014 Saturday night music and BBQ. It was memorable!!!!!! i'll be doing my best to get back up there as soon as possible. Wonderful friendly atmosphere and Stan tells a damn funny joke!!!

Once a month on a Saturday night there is a free BBQ and camping night with live music and open mic. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and the BBQ is generous and delicious prepared by friends and family of the owner. This hotel is basically a tin shed in the middle of nowhere, but it's well worth the 16 kilometre detour from the Stuart Highway just to see the walls which are covered with dust laden memorabilia from years gone by.
