If you want a budget priced peaceful nights sleep in the countryside and you also want to centrally located for easy access to Litchfield National Park and Darwin then Mt Bundy Station is the ideal location. We stayed in the Billabong House which was a neat and tidy retro house located near the billabong on the station. The house had... More

Congratulations to Mt Bundy Station for winning the Tripadvisor excellence award. They certainly deserve it! We stayed for a week and had a fantastic time. So much to do and see around the station, the area and in Adelaide River. And the evening was enjoyed around the camp fire together with a lot of happy travellers. Thank you to the... More

Mt Bundy is a great spot to take your Darwin family for a quick getaway. You can leave after work Friday and arrive at mt Bundy before dark. Every Friday there is a bonfire and cooked dinner so all you have to do is arrive and set up your tent, no need to cook. There are heaps of horses, cows... More

We booked in for one night & ended up staying for 20days. The life style & the friends we met made us stay longer. Sitting around the camp fire at night for happy hour , having sausages or hamburgers cooked for you & listening to Ben play his guitar with a singalong & going on a tour of Mt Bundy... More

Arrived at Mt Bundy Station intending to stay a couple of nights and stayed 3 weeks. Real country and friendly atmosphere, happy hour each night and singalong and barbecue each Friday night with the hosts cooking for the guests. Ben is a real asset to the place with his signing and friendly personality and has everyone joining in at singalong.... More

Thoroughly enjoyable stay; we highly recommend Bill's 4wd tour - really informative and the best sunset in the NT although a bit pricey. We stayed in Billabong Cottage which was lovely - we would love to return and stay longer next time

Needing a place to stay at last notice, we called at 4pm to enquire about the availability of a Safari tent and we recommended to stay in the Stockman's Cottage which would be cheaper (as it is shared facilities) but more comfortable (air con, proper building, no other bookings so we had it to ourselves). The room was very comfortable,... More

Lovely location, very peaceful. Safari tent well equipped with all the essential, even fans :). Overlooking the little dam with morning visits from peacocks and swarms of visitors of the wallaby kind in the evening. Only down side was the bunk beds not comfy for adults but great for kiddies. Own fire pit and gas BBQ,nice a quiet... Pony rides... More

We first went to Mt Bundy Station 3 years ago for a 3 day stay. We liked it so much that we stayed for 2 1/2 months. Since then we have been coming back each year. The owners (Sue & Scott) are wonderful people and make you feel like family. This year we are here for 5 Months

We have stayed at Mount Bundy about 5 times now but this was the 1st for my sister Sherri and Dad (nearly 85). They loved the animals and flora and birds. Accommodation in Billabong House was fantastic. We all wanted to stay longer. Staff are great and hopefully if Dad can manage another trip I know it will be "Take... More
