My husband and I had a last minute decision to stay. The staff let us book in late and very accommodating. The room was lovely and the whole bar and building was very clean and please to the eye. Breakfast was nice, with a very decent coffee. Only thing was the puddles of urine we had to step over in... More

A few of us stayed in a couple of rooms here on the 10th July 2015 and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the rooms were great, the food was lovely and even the locals were nice to talk to. We would highly recommend this place - we'd love to stay again, all we need to... More

We stayed in the Hunters Lodge for one night before attending a wedding at Clonabreany a House and what a fantastic spot the Fincourt is! The customer service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and the full Irish breakfast in the morning was delicious. The owner was very flexible and accommodating regarding check out times and our need for... More

A gem of a place run by the most hospitable Garry and his fab team, who made it their business to tend to our every need. Lovely room with the most comfortable (locally made) bed - found it hard to leave it! The food was fab; and served in a beautiful, fire-lit room, next to the pub - which was... More

Just spent four days at this friendly B & B/pub in Oldcastle, County Meath, Ireland. We found it to be very clean, the food was lovely - especially the breakfast! The staff were always helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

I went here for my sister's hen weekend. They accommodated a group as big as ours no problem. The food was delicious, the rooms were lovely and we will definitely be back. We all had a fantastic time, the Fincourt staff were brilliant and they couldn't do enough for us

Stayed here while attending an event in the town. It was a nice place the room was lovely, clean and equipped with everything you would need. Only thing I could fault was the reception area which was at the bar not very private as there was people sitting at the bar while I was checking in and I didn't like... More

Had a great welcome at the Fincourt from Jackie with a lovely glass of Guinness. Stayed for the weekend while attending a family wedding at Loughcrew. We had the two bed apartment rather than just a double and single room. The rooms were clean and bright upstairs, tea and coffee provided and nice to have the extra room downstairs &... More

Thank you so much, it was a pleasure to meet you all. We will definitely look at closing the end of the staircase in Hunters Lodge. Some guest like the old rustic appeal, but we should have Hunters Lodge as child friendly as the guest house and the other self catering apartments. Thank you again for your review and your... More
