We have traveled a lot in our RV and this is hands down our favourite campground. The owners Marlene and Les are the best campground owners we have met. The sites are level, clean, well cared for with trees to provide privacy. Our site had good 30 amp service and really fast wifi. The comfort station is always immaculate, as... More

We originally signed on for a 3 day stay but extended it to a full week. The site (#40) was a bit too close to Rt 224, but even an occasional vehicle going by wasn't particularly noisy. While at present there are only a few sites for large RVs, they are plenty big enough with gravel and good drainage (yep,... More

Check-in was easy. We've shied away from staying in private-run campgrounds before, but these guys were great. They do have a bunch of rules, but we thought they were reasonable. As you drive in, there's a little check-point cabin within which you can buy some basic necessities and firewood. The wood they had for sale seemed to be of standard prices... More

We tent camped, for 2 weeks, throughout Eastern Canada. This campground was hands down, our favorite. The sites are a bit small and close together, but they are wooded in between, to allow for privacy. The bathhouse was spotless. We wanted to be in a location that was between Cavendish and Charlottetown, and this campground fit the bill. The owners... More

A friend recommend us this place being their favorite place on the island. We are so glad they did..we will be back. Very... very clean and well maintained. These owner really care about this place and it shows all around. The bathrooms were as clean of a bathroom as I have ever seen. Even after the "morning rush" The lodge... More

Our family has camped here a number of years now. Quite easily our favorite place on the Island! Peaceful, quiet. We had such a relaxing time! Thank you so much Marlene and Les for being wonderful hosts. The kids had a great time and luckily, we avoided the rain!

After much research we decided this was the place for our family to spend our vacation on the island and it worked out perfectly. This campground is incredibly clean and well-maintained. The owners work all hours to ensure you are comfortable and happy. The pool is warm (very important for my wimpy children) and the showers are hot. The location... More

We stayed in a cabin, which included a double bed, bunk beds and a table with bench seating (no cabin bathroom). This campground is extremely well-run and provides a quiet experience. The bathrooms were spotless and always had toilet paper. The store seemed a little expensive but was convenient. The cabins are a bargain.

nothing could be further from the French municipal campsite we inflicted on our children. It was a revelation to be brought here by our daughter. A small site, impeccably maintained with pleasant washrooms and a lovely pool. Each of the 40 pitches is generously proportioned and sheltered from its neighbours. There are a plethora of well-designed rules to maintain the... More

We typically camp in the deep woods with no services. I struggled to locate a campground on PEI that was not an open field. Through tripadvisor forums, I found New Glasgow Highlands and it was perfect. We tented on a nice flat site surrounded by trees and bushes. We could see tents on neighboring sites but we had quite a... More
