Excellent location on cliff above rocky cove. Ideal for families with children. Nice shady seating area outside restaurant where they serve lunch, dinner and good Turkish breakfast. Set among picturesque ruins of church. Unspoilt scenery.

Ayfilon Beach also known as Dipkarpaz Halk Beach is probably one of the best beaches in Cyprus! Definetely the best beach in North side of the island. It is very desserty and very natural... there are no buildings around. The water is spectacular!

A ruined basilica overlooking a sandy beach next to the remains of a major classical port. Fabulous location. Almost like the Med used to be before mass tourism. This very simple hotel and restaurant are perched over the beach. Restaurant food is simple, traditional, reasonable value and delicious. We haven't stayed at the hotel, but have looked in the rooms.... More

Not stayed at the hotel as tend to always stay at Glaro Gardens but never miss a lunch out at Oasis every time I come to the Karpaz. The food is delicious and fresh and the setting is incredible. Time your visit at sunset and watch the most beautiful sunset that Cyprus has to offer. Staff very welcoming and friendly.... More

Amazing location on the edge of the beach. Room was clean but a bit strange having a shower and toilet squashed into a corner. View from the room out of the door was due west. Watching the sun set from the terrace with a drink was one of the highlights of our Cyprus trip. We enjoyed our supper and breakfast... More

The location above a little cove is great apart from the litter on the beach which seems be common in North Cyprus. Lunch was simple Cypriot fare with nice mezes and was very good value. The service was casual and friendly.

Six of us stopped here having been ignored at a hotel/restaurant on the other side of the panhandle. The meze was one of the best we had during our months stay in TRNC and the lamb chops were definitely the best we had anywhere. The service was friendly an attentive. The others in the group had a swim and took... More

We stopped at the oasis hotel restaurant for drinks and decided to come back for a meal in the evening. What a treat!! This was the best sunset view in Cyprus. The meal was very good as well and he took credit cards!! The owner was very pleasant and chatted to us throughout the evening. I would seriously think about... More

This is a quiet and basic hotel in a little cove. I love going here in the summer as the turtles nest here. It only has 8 rooms but they all have a shower and toilet. There is a central toilet and shower block to wash of the sand without taking it into your room. The restaurant serves lovely food... More

Visited Karpaz as we do every year but as we pulled up & took a look at the beach, we quickly got back into the car as the beach was dirty. There was a lot of seaweed which was probably a result of the winds the previous day but there was a line of plastic bottles & rubbish all along... More
