I never thought there's 5 star resort/hotel in this part of kenya until I stayed at almond resort, the staff are friendly, rooms are clean with ac,tv, phone, mosquito nets because of mosquites,gardens are a work of art,buffet breakfast with a variety to choose from, loved it

Wonderful gardens and great swimming pool. Not expensive and reasonable rooms. But the service was TERRIBLE. The waitress stank of sweat. Took our order for fish and beef and returned 50 minutes later to say that there was no meat and no parsley. Failed to bring the drinks for another 20 minutes then got the order wrong.
