It's a very simple, small, and old school hotel. It's $29 on weekdays and $39 on weekends. What do you want or expect? That's what you get. Odds are, if you're in Tahoe and you're looking for the cheapest place, you'll be happy here. Its close to everything (casinos), including Harveys, which is nicer and only a few bucks more.... More

We just checked out tbis morning. This is an old but homey inn. Small but close walk to everything. The owner is really nice. We will come again.

This used to be a decent budget place to stay with a good location. Now it is extremely run down and not worth any price. Here is a list of the current features: * Dripping Sink * Dripping Shower that came apart and shot water every where when turned on. * Broken heater that would not stay lit. * No... More

(otherwise a stunning area... More

Tahoe Experience We just completed our vacation in South Lake Tahoe area. Fortunately we found Elizabeth Lodge through one of our friend who regularly visite Tahoe and always stay in this Motel. Daily rate was unbeatable for the well furnished and clean room with most courteous wellcome. Worth to get enough out of money spent. Always recommend to stay there... More

I was staying at the Elizabeth Lodge for a wedding I was DJing in mid August. When we arrived after a 9 hour drive the room was filthy! The shower leaked and there was mold in the shower. The bathroom didn't have a doorknob and my wife got stuck in there when she closed the door. We asked for a... More

Visited there in 1997 when I got married, and we have always made an effort to visit south Lake Tahoe practicaly every year. Each time we always stay at Elizabeth Lodge. For someone on a budget, the rates are cheap enough. You get what you pay for!

Well, we just got back from a weeks vacation in the Reno/Tahoe area. As always, beautiful. Staying, once again at the Elizabeth Lodge helped make us have such a wonderful time. The price is so reasonable. Our owner/host was very helpful as always. It is always a pleasure to stay there. They make you feel so at home and are... More
