Woke up this morning to snow!!! Such an awesome spot. 10 mins from the shops but peacefully situated by the lake. The bathrooms are very well kept. We arrived during the shoulder season and the ground was very quiet. I really want to come back to Tahoe for a USA winter season.

I made the reservation well ahead of time and I got B loop spot 4. It had 30 amp no water hook up and NO sewer. They offer a pumper for $10, a little high. For a week it was too long. On A loop water is supposed to be every other space but friend of mine need a 75... More

This campground among the trees is right across the street from the lake, where you will find a beach and small park. The campsites are organized around several loops, a couple of which have electricity, and I think one loop has full hookups. We camped in an RV for three nights total, two in a site with electricity. The sites... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights while on rv road trip with the kids. The campground is verywelcoming. Staff is friendly. Rv spots are very spacious.swimming beach is just across the street, as is a very developed playground. Sky Run marina with its activities and shops is within kids walking distance. Price is very reasonable. Recommended.

We were in site B7. We got our reservation a day before we arrived which surprised me but we were only there for two nights. The maximum stay at this campground is two weeks. We had a view of the lake and the mountains, while being nestled in tall pine trees. It is definitely a kid friendly park. They could... More

My husband and I camped here for four nights this past July. Although backcountry camping is more our style, this Campground by the Lake was right on the money with our Lake Tahoe agenda. It was nice to wake up to the smell of the many tall pine trees, which tower over the campground. Let’s just say finding a spot... More

Great location- convenient to services- across the highway from the Lake, easy walk. I like to watch current event news. Satellite is very difficult to receive unless you have a portable with long RG 58 cable. It would be nice to add local cable TV. GREAT PLACE

We stayed at campground by the lake for 4 nights Aug10-14. We were in site B23. It was a good site. All sites in the B loop are very wide open and close to each other. It worked out well for us tho because we were staying next to our family in the next site. Showers are free but there... More

We went up to the lake for 2 days with our van conversion in late June. The place was nearly empty where we parked, which was very close to a bathroom that we had to ourselves. We didn't need hook-ups and it ran us $24.00 for the night. We just needed a place to park for the night with a... More
