The place was nice and clean. The location was awesome and the staff is very nice and pleasant. It has the old rustic look and very cozy and relaxing. The room also includes in room coffee, microwave and fridge plus free wifi. It’s a short walk to the casinos, shops and the gondola. I would stay here again! BTW, this... More

We booked a room at this Motel and they only allow 2 night stays on the weekend, we were not able to get up to Tahoe on Friday night (due to an emergency). We contacted Alley (manager) and told her, she reported that if she rented the room for Friday night she would not charge us for both nights. Not... More

We booked two rooms- adjoining each other, one with a kitchenette which was ideal and it also had a gas fire. We were there to ski so we could cater for breakfasts and a couple of evening meals. On arrival the rooms were cold but the heating is incredibly efficient. The rooms are dated but very clean and serviced each... More

We spent Labor Day weekend in South Lake Tahoe and booked this hotel because the price was right. We were not disappointed. We stayed in room #12, which was small but adequate for our needs. It had a small fridge and microwave and coffee maker. The people who ran the hotel were friendly and courteous. The location is perfectly situated... More

Excellent location at the Lake end of Stateline, free beach pass a bonus we used for the terrific 4th of July fireworks- front row seats! Basic but clean room and bath, short on electric outlets. Pool a plus. Our room was not made up for the 2nd day, but otherwise courteous, friendly service. Walking distance to casinos, lake, shopping.

Superb location. Really nice owners. Clean and sanitary. Older property. This was a last minute reservation for me made on the same day after some plans fell through. The property is a cute old place just a couple blocks from the main drag and a short walk to the lake. Insofar as you don't go do Tahoe to stay indoors,... More

Close to the lake, two to three minutes walk to the lake. We walked to the lakeside to see the sunset just after checking. The room is cozy and clean. The facility in the room works great.Recommend for buget travelers.

We got there on Christmas Eve at about 2:30pm. We looked up what hotels were closest to the casinos and stores so that everything was walking distance. We picked Cedar Inn also because they had the best price for the type of room we were looking for. We stayed in the Mini Suite in room #14. The room came with... More

I recently stayed at Cedar Inn and had a great experience. I ended up arriving in Tahoe early and because my room was ready, they let me check in early. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Comfortable bed and decent size room. I had a fireplace in my room, but because it was August, I didn't... More

We got there on July 2, we had reserved a room with 2 double beds for $119/n; when we got there, the rooms avalable for that price were dark and smelly; then she said she had another (supposedly larger) room with 2 queen beds and a bath for $20 extra per night; when my husband suggested that we stay in...
