I found this place when looking for dog-friendly accomodations in Lake Tahoe. It is a sweet little place, great for when traveling with dogs, but it does seem like there are some money issues here. A previous reviewer mentioned all the little "don't do this and that" signs posted about the place and they ARE a little annoying, espec. when... More

we assumed we were booking a cabin since the only images shown and advertised on their website were CABINS!!!!!!....turned out we were in the "suite".....one room with no windows, a non-locking sliding glass door without a screen was the only option for ventilation which allowed the mosquitoes to feast on us....the VCR/DVD player was in the dresser drawer and we... Thank you for your review. This was a new room and we had not yet had the opportunity to test it out in the summer prior to this rental. We are taking the information in this review and fixing the issues stated. We are also very sorry this was a unpleasant expeirence for the guests. It is our hope that... More

What a find! We needed a last minute place to stay with our Mini Aussie. I searched dog friendly lodging on Yelp and Holly's place came up. Don't go by the directions on Yelp because you'll never find it. Holly was warm, friendly and very accommodating. It is a totally fenced and safe compound for your dog. Dusty romper and... More

My husband and I visit Lake Tahoe several times a year and stay in one of the cabins at Holly's Place as often as they have availability. Our dog is treated like royalty and it is super convenient to have a fenced-in area where visiting dogs can play. Holly has managed the property for more than 20 years and knows... More

First, the good... Holly's Place is envisioned as a dog-friendly, informal cabin-based "retreat" where nice folks and nice dogs can come together to relax and enjoy the beautiful Lake Tahoe environs, and for the most part, it succeeds at this mission quite well. The folks we met here were very nice, as were the dogs! Everyone had a dog, and... More

A wonderful hidden gem. Beautiful grounds and cute cabins. Rustic charm, very Tahoe. So nice to have a place where you bring your dogs. Holly and Karen do a great job at making you feel like one of the "family". Great escape from the slopes, steps away from the main drag.

We have to say how much we enjoyed staying at Holly's place last month (June 19th into the 20th). Our only regret is that we didn’t get an opportunity to stay longer. After we left, we took the gondola ride at Heavenly, which lived up to its name. Holly's Place is well hidden, quiet, dog friendly, and close enuff to... More

My wife and I stayed at Holly's place for a day, we LOVED it!!! The minute the gates were closed and the dogs calmed down after welcoming the guests, we could see how this was a mini oasis!! The cabins are adorable, clean, comfortable and perfect for pet lovers!! (am not sure about the cats...didn't see any cats there !... More

The grounds here are beautiful, the people treat you like family, and the dogs have the time of their lives playing with the other poeple's dogs. What a treat for your best friend (fido) to be able to go on a trip with you and be able to run free when you get there. The space is relaxing, so after... More
