Lovely location, loved the chairlift right outside with amazing views from the top! Great town and the Marriott Timber Lodge is in a central location, just a few mins walk to the Lake too! Welcoming log fires and friendly helpful staff. Couldn't fault it!

My check in was efficient professional and all around a 10/10. Each interaction with the service staff was great and they are helpful. I got a suite which came with everything from pots and pans to paper towels. The valet are quick and professional. The 26$ charge is very reasonable. The key cards are modern rfid and do not demagnatize.... More

We stayed here just for a few nights to catch our breath after our "vacation" in California,on the drive from SanFrancisco to Salt Lake City. It was a time to rest-up from our vacation! It's a great location with shopping and restaurants close by and the pool area is very nice. We just had a lock- out, which is similar... More

Feels like a timeshare rather than a classy hotel. But the location is good and there's lots of fun shops and restaurants. I see a mountain chair lift here so great for skiing in the winter - its right on the california-nevada state line.

The past few years we have been going to the Marriott - Either the Timber Lodge or its sister property The Grand Residences. The condos are well appointed and a very nice place to relax. There are activities on site. We have participated in several; in particular one Halloween we participated in making some spooky alcoholic drinks. A great way... More

Very well-appointed room with classy furnishings, as has been typical of our experiences so far with Marriott Vacation club properties. All of the normal amenities (pool, hot tub, fitness room, etc) are kept in good shape. Perhaps the biggest plus is how close it's located to an area of bustling activity both night and day. The hotel is situated right... More

Excellent location, next to the Casinos and Lift to the top of the Mountain. Great selection of restaurants in the patio mall. The staff was terrific with many activities to keep everyone busy. The pool and fire pit was fun to spend time around.

The location is really central to everything. The room was big size but kind of an awkward space with a 6 person dining table in the living room when it was only a one bedroom. The valet service at $26/day wasn't good. Cars took longer than the 10 minutes promised. Also, when we retrieved our car when we checked out,... More

If they didn't advertise themselves as a five start resort I would not have been nearly as annoyed. But they do, and I was. Plus their advertising lies. Not a good start. First, they hit you up for $26 bucks to park your car. There is no other option offered. If you don't know you can park in Harrah's lot... More

We arrived at the Timber Lodge on Sunday afternoon having started our family vacation with lost luggage (thanks United!). Before scurrying off to our 2 rooms I explained to the front desk staff the urgency in calling my room the minute the airport service showed up with our luggage, stating we had ski school for 3 in our party scheduled...
