For my family vacation we stayed at the americana village we had numerous children at various ages and niki and I apologize I dont know the other girls name were excellent at planning and coordinating activities to keep them busy and kept a great attitude even when my 8 year old daughter was squirting her in the face with a... We used a banked timeshare week to stay at this resort and were pleasantly surprised. We were told that the area wasn't very nice but this resort has been doing major upgrades and we were well situated in a newly renovated one bedroom unit right near the Heavenly base area. Since we didn't stay in the neighborhood very much it... More

Stayed one night in one of the remodeled rooms. There is no AC at it was miserably hot the night we were there. There was a screen over the door so you could leave your door open but we did not feel comfortable doing that for safety reasons. People were constantly walking by our room, peering in the windows. Creepy.... More

We were in Lake Tahoe celebrating our anniversary. We found the Americana Village online and it sounded like the place were looking for and it was. Nestled among the tall evergreen trees off the busy highway. We were in a queen studio with a kitchenette, bath and a nice sitting area. The bed was comfortable. We slept well at night. The... More

Stayed at this hotel the end of June with my two children. Had a wonderful time and enjoyed the amenities available. We enjoyed making loom bracelets and tie-dye shirts, which allowed us to take home mementos of our trip without having to pay the high prices of the gift shops. The room was very nice and updated. We stayed in... More

I would like to thank Anna for answering my questions and noting my request for a first floor unit due to my husband's disability. Next, I'd like to thank Linda for being so understanding when we found there was no AC. With my husband's health condition and no AC we could not stay. Linda looked up the number for what... More

We stayed in a very nice 1 room suite. Plenty of space for a family of 5. Though the bathroom was small. But we hardly slept because it was so hot in our room. No air conditioning. It was in the 90's when we stayed. The pool was nice. Everything was clean and the staff was nice. Still, no ac,... More

The remodeled rooms are nice and very conducive to rest and relaxation with some fun thrown in. Bikes and pool with jacuzzi were just right for our style. Staff are helpful and friendly. Will definitely return.

This is a timeshare property that opens up availability to other guests when rooms are available. They are renovating the rooms a few at a time during the off-season so some are a bit older with a very interesting platform in the middle. The renovated rooms are awesome and the ones that have yet to experience a remodel have a... More

Our family of four stayed for three nights and loved this hotel. Room was comfortable, reliable Wi-Fi, and the staff went out of their way to help us make reservations for activities in the area like boat rides. Nice pool, and fun activities for kids as well. Excellent location near the gondola amid the pines. Only suggestion would be to... More
