No frills stay at HoJo's, but all considering, the hotel is immaculately kept. Mostly outdated,but with decent carpet, bedding and hallway carpet - everything was very clean and well-kept! It's inexpensive, and in a great location. Owner and wife polite and helpful. Skip the continental breakfast though, and go next door to Heidi's.

Super clean hotel well located in south lake Tahoe. The rooms are comfortable, the staff friendly, lots of parking available, free breakfast was just ok but it was complimentary so cannot fault it. The lake and some restaurants are at walking distance, if we'll be back in Tahoe will definitely stay here again.

It is an express hotel. So it is a place to stay with minimal amenities. The picture for the hotel does not look like the actual thing....think more wood than stone. I am with Wyndham Rewards which is how I found this motel. Just passing thru on my way to Reno. It is clean and it is old. Many vacancies.... More
