Ones experience at the Lakeshore Lodge seems to be largely dependent on the room allocated. Some have been refurbished, others not. The location and views are fabulous and the staff are helpful. Otherwise the lodge is certainly in the budget category - our room had a fireplace - if you wanted to use it you had to buy wood!
