A fantastic B&B. I am a young female who was travelling down for an interview the next day. I arrived late in the evening and was instantly made to feel welcome and at home. The hosts were lovely and the 3 dogs also made it feel like home. They put me up in one of the bedrooms with an en-suite,... More

Used this as my overnight stop on a 100 mile circular bike ride through Somerset. It fitted the bill perfectly - welcoming hosts, comfortable bed, much needed bath!, excellent breakfast - wonderful old house. Fantastic area for cycling - mixture of very hilly (Mendips) or very flat (Somerset Levels), loads in between plus the Strawberry Line cycle path if you... More

Bedroom and en-suite were excellent, very high standard of furnishings. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was superb, certainly the best I have experienced. We did feel part of the family, even the 3 dogs made us... More

We were going to a cat show and our main criteria for choosing somewhere to stay was - proximity to the venue and... would they allow our 2 cats to stay in the room (in a travel pen, I hasten to add)? At the Old Manor House this was not a problem! Apart from the "pet friendly" aspect, there were... More

After finding a gem of a hotel on Enjoy England's website late last year, we used it again to find a hotel near Cheddar. We decided on this Silver Award winning hotel... ...And what a decision it turned out to be. The owners Sue and Merv made us feel as if it was home within minutes of arriving. In guest... More
