We (a couple) had been two weeks in the Alamanda and had a fantastic time! We chose this hotel due to the diving base (Werner Lau). The bungalow in balinese style had a great view on the ocean and was very comfortable. The service was excellent, very friendly and discrete and all personal could speak more than sufficient English. The... More

On a large landscape lush green sit many small bungalows and other forms of accommodation that provide comfortable stay. To the northeast is the vast expanse of the ocean that is still at times and gently lapping the rocky shore at other times. Apparently there are good diving sites in the vicinity of the hotel that I did not try.... More

Expecting much more when reading the reviews of this resort... Isolated at the top end of Bali, we felt trapped inside these beautiful gardens, with no working but billed internet connection. Tours to overcrowded tourist destinations didn't make the stay more interesting. Cuisine and breakfast buffet very average. Highlight is the extremely friendly Staff and beautifully maintained gardens. Also the... More

Alma Adna was a great choice of location for a diving holiday in Bali. Its far off the beaten tourist route, but well worth the journey. The food was great, the rooms were excellent especially the new deluxe garden bungalows and the diving was brilliant. The trips organised by the hotel were also very good and extremely good value for... More

It is all so good it is hard to say in what particular areas it excelled. The grounds are lovely. The accommodation excellent. The service and care from all the staff exceptional. All the staff were so pleasant. In fact that was probably the best feature of all. The restaurant serves a delicious selection of food at all times. The... More

When we arrived in Bali the driver for our transport was waiting with a sign, we dressed and professional looking. The trip to the hotel through the countryside was great but a little long at four hours. Once at the hotel we were greater by the staff and given a cool drink and a cold hand towel. A brief was... The resort is beautifully landscaped with lovely large bungalows well separated from each other, spotlessly clean, and well fitted out. The staff are ever helpful, at reception, in the restaurant, and at the dive base, where everything is done for you. (OK, you have to put your own wetsuit on!) When we weren't diving, eating, or sleeping, we were in... More

What a wonderful, peaceful place. The bungalows are nice, clean and well-priced. Lovely staff. The pool is wonderful and the grounds are spacious. I had a waterfront bungalow -- and my only complaint would be that the waves were so loud during the night that I had difficulty sleeping and they were so loud that some of them shook the... More

We had a warm welcome at the hotel lobby followed by proper introduction into the room and its amenities. The seaview bungalow is a really nice room with a well ventilated bathroom, a cosy hangout-porch situated in a beautiful garden. The Balinese hotel staff and restaurant staff and cleaning staff at the resort are very kind, humble and helpful. Excellent!!... More

First time we were here 25 years ago. Have gone back many times, last time 2004. Much has changed and it has become more professional. But some of the old family atmosphere is left and some of the old staff. Still friendly and happy to serve. Diving base looks great. Bungalow's are nice, but we liked the old open ones... More
