From the moment you step into the spacious, immaculate hall, the word 'quality' is apparent. Lyn appears and you know that here is someone who is on top of their game. She is not only welcoming and relaxed but produces tea and cake, served in the very large lounge, impeccably decorated as is the whole house. We had the green... More

Stayed for two nights over the TDF weekend. Very accomodating in our circumstances. Spacious, clean room. Very friendly owners. Beautiful house. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Tea and cakes on arrival. Can't fault in anyway. 10/10.

Only thing wrong was that we only had 1 night that we could stay there. The type of house that you would love to stay in yourself with the food to go with it. 5 star all round. Rod & Lynne have Won a Pub of the Year Award and they have carried this onto this most excellent B&B. An... More

We only stayed one night, however our spacious elegant room, super comfortable bed, combined with excellent dinner and delicious breakfast will ensure we return, and stay longer if we are passing this way again.

Lovely b and b, nice room and excellent breakfast. The house is like a mini stately home but homely at the same time.Service was great.Only niggle would be that all our personal items had been moved when the room was done.

A truly gracious hostess, beautiful rooms and a breakfast fit for a king. Highly recommend. We stayed over Easter weekend and took some beautiful country walks around the guest house. Beautiful walks along the river ure

Breakfast was delicious and great choice served in the pleasant dining room, we were kindly given a lift into Ripon one evening to save us getting... More

A wonderfully comfortable B&B. My bedroom (No. 2) was newly decorated and fitted out very luxuriously. I slept well and had a delicious full English breakfast the following morning. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

My partner and I stayed for one night in October in the Green Room. The room was huge and very well equipped with beautiful decor and accessories. The whole house had a lovely feel to it. We had a very friendly welcome and after being shown to our room, we were invited to have tea and muffins in the lounge.... More

We recently spent two nights at Sharow Cross House. This was a surprise weekend treat booked by my husband and what a treat! The accommodation was fantastic. The room was spacious, attractive and well equipped. The welcome from Lynn on arrival made us feel like we were regular visitors even though this was our first stay. Lynn was most helpful,... More
