The Three Cocks was spotlessly clean. Roy, Judith and the staff were friendly and attentive hosts, the room was warm and well furnished with toiletries, tea and coffee. No TV in room - great! Lovely real fires, cosy bar. More formal restaurant with a gorgeous breakfast. An absolute delight to stay here.

Stayed at the Three Cocks prior and after a wedding. Made really welcome on arrival although arriving late due to traffic. Really comfortable bed and excellent shower in the room. Breakfast is a magnificent spread and enough to keep most people going all day!! Also absolulutely spotlessly clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in this area... More

We stayed for three nights with my sister and brother in law and my cousin and her husband. We had a great time. Roy and Judith are great hosts and we felt like we were staying in someone's house, especially in the resident's lounge with it's roaring log fire. Roy was kept busy replenishing the log supply!! We all enjoyed... More

Stayed to break the journey N wales to Cardiff. Entheusiastic welcome, comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Great breakfast. Comfortable sitting room. Good breakfast. Dissapointing dinner. Loked good but the meat, my duck, wife's pork and other table's lamb rather chewy and red cabbage rather overcooked - redemed by delicious potato dish to a certain extent.

We stayed for 1 night mid week . Very comfy bedroom with modern bathroom - all immaculate . No TV in bedroom but it really didn't matter. Went for the dining room evening meal option and we were not disappointed! It was a tasty , home cooked treat using locally sourced food . Breakfast was excellent too. Very careful hosts... More

I cannot speak too highly of the hosts, most welcoming and jolly. The hotel is wonderful and you are looked after from the time you book in, didn't need to ask for anything as everything was perfect. Good room facing back garden, comfortable beds, lovely bathroom with very good toiletries. The evening menu is excellent and would definitely not eat... More
