Just returned from Woodhouse Farm having spent Thursday and Friday night there. Had a warm welcome and wercatche given a good hard standing pitch for our "vintage" motorhome. The site was very quiet and peaceful and the surroundings beautiful. there are two lakes for fishing, one small the other quite a bit larger. Tried the small one on Thursday afternoon... More

Literally got nothing good to say about this place except don't expect take away food. Don't expect to catch any fish. Don't expect any privacy from children and their parents running over your pitch. Barely any animals on the so called farm. Dead rabbits laying around the lake. Loud music at night. Upon complaint I got a bog standard reply... More

Dear Sam C Once again I find myself responding to your negative comments made about Woodhouse Farm. Fortunately most of our visitors find the Park meets their expectations and return time and time again. Let me take your points as you make them. You can expect to get take away food. On a busy Bank Holiday, there may be a... More

Nice clean site, great for the kids. Pub gets very busy so you need to book. We waited well over an hour for takeaway pizza! Like that rubbish is collected by a mini tractor and trailer daily. Security good with the barrier only accessed by residents. They had a bouncy castle and a few outdoor entertainment acts which was nice.... More

Stayed last year and really enjoyed it so came back this year with the family. There were 5 of us and a dog spread across 3 pods. 2 were the smaller pods and 1 was a larger pod. Having stayed in the smaller pods both times, I think if we go again, we'd go in the larger pods as there... More

I'm not a camper and the thought of it made me very anxious. The farm was recommended to me by a friend. My first camping trip was a success and this was because the site is clean, the pub is great and the food tasty. We had good weather too which helped. Would most definitely return. Am I a camper... Woodhouse Farm is a nice campsite with some good facilities. The toilets are clean as are the showers. The Pub / Restaurant served some nice food and the beer was nice and cold. So why not 5 stars? The site has an advertised games barn which inside looks partly finished. The Pool table could not be used (29 Aug 15)... More

Just got back from a 3 night stay, enjoyed the site very much, very friendly and helpful staff. Very generous tent pitch close to all amenities. We would highly recommend this camp site and will definitely visit again!! Plenty to do on site, and we found the fishing very good, we caught quite a few different fish, eg Perch, Roach,... More

Great campsite with great facilitates. The play areas for the kids are spot on and were very focal. The onsite pub is very accommodating with a great selection of beers and a substantial food menu. The onsite shop is small, but has all the emergency stuff you may require. Looking forward to taking the family back again.

The pod is set out in a lovely area, and it very clean and quite, the only downfall is the toilets are quite a walk away. Also the next downfall is for if your wanting to fish, the pounds don't have many fish init, if your goin for the fishing then don't . The barn restaurant is lovely and so... More
