We stayed on 16th & 17th July, it was the most beautiful little cottage, totally equipped with everything you need and so private. It was quite breathtaking and I would have no hesitation going back there again! In fact, I can't wait. Sarah is so organised and they have invested so much in the farm, I am still gobsmacked!

We stayed for 4 nights starting 20th July,2 adults and our 5 year old daughter......we had such a lovely relaxing break. So lovely to be together with no distractions. Daughter loved feeding the animals and toasting marshmallows on the fire every night. We built a fab den in the woods too!! Certainly got fit walking to the farm and back... More

I stayed at the woodcutters cottage for 2 nights and it really was a perfect stay. Literally everything had been thought of from food/essentials ready and waiting for your first night to the quirky features and accessories. Wonderful walks in the surrounding area through idyllic woodland and the cabin itself was like something from a fairytale! When asked what could... More

The Woodcutters Cottage is delightfully secluded, perfect for our first wedding anniversary. It is great to have the option of cooking inside and out, with the addition of the wood burning stove, makes this the ideal glamping spot for any weather! The wood fired shower is inspired, easy and quick to heat up, providing lots of toasty hot water. Sarah... More

Swallowtail is in a beautiful setting, with comfortable cabins and well-equipped cooking facilities. Our family group stayed in the cabins (plenty of room for four per cabin), plus Meadow Keeper's cottage (quite tight for two). I'm not sure I'd enjoy sharing the cabin area with people I didn't know, but that's a personal thing. We loved cooking on the fire... More

All the good things about camping - the outdoors, cooking on a fire but without the discomfort of a tent or the close presence of other people. We stayed in woodcutters cottage this time and Meadowkeepers cottage previously. They are both on their own in complete seclusion and they are the cutest fairy tale cottages but with every practical detail... More

Cozy, tidy, warm cabins. Hot water. Fully-stocked camp kitchen. Food and snacks all prepared and waiting for you. All the comforts of home minus the noise, work, pollution and stress. Plus pigs, dogs, goats, donkeys, rabbits, birds and sheep. And if you do get lonely, you have villages and the beach just 10 minutes away. Could not imagine a more... More

I took my two daughters (aged 7 and 9) to the Woodcutters Cottage and they had a magical time for 4 nights. There's nothing better than waking to the sound of Buzzards mewing above you, owls hooting in the woods and other birds singing. The cottage is in its own seclued woodland glade and my two really enjoyed making dens... More

We had our festival themed wedding at Swallowtail Hill in September 2013 and had a thoroughly awesome time. The site is truly beautiful, the site rules geared towards you giving a great time while being respectful of the area and the price is competitive. A few of our friends contacted the owners with a look to hosting their weddings there,... More

I organised a relaxed hen-do for about 15 girls at Swallowtail Hill Farm last weekend and it was a great success. We were able to book out the whole site and everyone absolutely loved the cosy, comfortable cabins, the beautiful countryside location, and feeding the farm animals on the Saturday morning! Sarah and Christopher and incredibly kind and welcoming, and... More
