“Great location on Lake Simcoe for ice fishing.”

The proximity to the lake is excellent, with great access to the ice at multiple locations. There is plenty of room for trucks and trailers to park. This mom and pop team are making an effort but the tourism bucks available in this out of the way area don't seem to be enough to bring it up to standard. I feel bad because they appear to have just redone the unit we were in but it was still kind of a dump. We had reserved 2 houses... More

We recently stayed at Peninsula Resort because the sports team we were with wanted to stay together. At Lake Simcoe motels are the only thing you can get for a whole team. The rooms were dirty - cob webs all over the windows with dead bugs, flies etc., smelled moldy (like an old motel style room). We were lucky bec.... More
