The proximity to the lake is excellent, with great access to the ice at multiple locations. There is plenty of room for trucks and trailers to park. We recently stayed at Peninsula Resort because the sports team we were with wanted to stay together. At Lake Simcoe motels are the only thing you can get for a whole team. The rooms were dirty - cob webs all over the windows with dead bugs, flies etc., smelled moldy (like an old motel style room). We were lucky bec.... More
