Weekend luxery for a celebration. Outstanding, kind service. Wonderful exciting food. Excellent room overlooking beautiful gardens and Rutland Water. Wines and cocktails are very good served with a selection of unusal canapes. Nothing to complain about, everyting to praise.

We recently had lunch at the restaurant with friends and were disappointed with the quality of the food, especially when you consider the cost of the set price menu. Service was excellent but I object to restaurants billing me a "discretionary service" charge of 12.5%.

Where to start? Even on a bank holiday with an influx of day trippers to the area this was still a pleasure.
