had a great stay with George and Margo a lovely couple who are very accommodating, I had just go in when I was asked if I would like a cup of tea or Coffee and after a long drive it was greatly welcomed. I have the single room which was very clean and warm with a good supply of coffee... More

From the moment the door opened upon us we were treated with warmth and generosity. 'come in, sit down, what would you like to drink' was our introduction to Margo & George. Everything about this accomodation is generous. The three of us found everywhere spotlessly clean, the beds, furniture and soft furnishings were comfortable, of good quality and very pleasing... It was really great to find such an attractive B&B in this quiet location. Spotless, comfortable beds and our thanks go to Margo and George for their welcome and particularly for the scones and tea with which we were met. Sorry it was for only one night on our cycling tour!

We arrived and were immediately asked if we would like a cuppa, but as we were planning on going out for a meal declined. Margo then suggested some places we could eat. While we were out they transformed our twin room to a double, as we had originally requested a double. George also gave us a wee dish with decaf... More

On arriving at Hame Lea, after a very long, and tiring drive, we were met by Margo, and George, who with great warmth welcomed us with a fine pot of tea, and chocolate biscuits. Our room was absolutely wonderful being spotlessly clean, tasteful, and with a lavish assortment of tea, coffee, and biscuits. TV had all available channels, and George... More

The Hame Lea is an excellent welcoming B&B justa few steps from Rosehearty Harbour. Bedrooms are well appointed, spotless and comfortable, the hosts George and Margo are friendly and the quality of the breakfast is outstanding. Definitely a hidden gem, and great value to boot.
