With its beautiful garden and cool bar area, friendly and helpful staff, traditional layout of the village and houses offering perfect comfort for Africa, delicious food and relaxing atmosphere, Barbara’s Village certainly comes highly recommended. It’s a distance away from the hustle and bustle of the capital and nearby tourist places, but still close enough to do everything one wants.... More

My best decision was to spend few weeks at Barbaras village, I have been twice, 13 days at New Year time three years ago and 20 days in November 2010. If you really like Africa then come to Barbara,s village!Friendly stuff ,clean rooms and if you choose Ashante house ,you will feel like a queen or king.All beds with safety nets,Food excellent and more than enough.Barbara is friendly and helpful,the best adviser where to travel.I specially enjoyed drumming and dancing evenings with local artists.I was there twice in 2010 and...
