I planned to stay for just two weeks at the beginning of July with two small dogs and occasional visits from my family. When I arrived with my teenage grandson we were made so welcome that we felt immediately at home. Lyddon Cottage which sleeps three was very clean, fully equipped with all we needed and very comfortable. My grandson... More

We (4 adults, one baby and 1 overly friendly dog) stayed in one of the log cabins for one week and could have easily have stayed another. The weather was excellent and there are many places to visit within an hours drive. The complex is very rural, quiet and has has excellent views. For a small site the facilities were... More

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by Caroline and her family, We had the Bride cottage which was equipped to the highest standard with an extensive welcome pack( including items for our jack Russell) most accommodation tolerate dogs, but this one welcomed ours. There is plenty of space for exercising. The whole site is excellently maintained with flower... More

Stayed in bride cottage recently, excellent accommodation , excellent location , a place to unwind. Caroline was very helpful, could not do enough for us. Swimming pool small but just right for us. If you like walking cattistock is about an hours walk away all down country lanes, no cars, only the odd tractor. Highly recommended

Last week, my partner and I rented Bride Cottage. This charming, warm and clean cottage had everything we needed plus the bonus of a comfy 4-poster bed! We were very happy with the welcome pack (teas, coffees, milk and locally produced biscuits) so we could start unwinding straight away after the journey. Fresh flowers on the dining room table was... A short distance away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for you to experience some of Dorset's hidden charms. We recently spent a week at Lancombe Country cottages - with 4 14 years old girls and we came back relaxed and re-charged...cant say that about most breaks. Stunning views; walks and horse riding outrides to survey the scenery.... More

Just got back from a week staying in Axe Lodge. Was just fantastic. Great views and a peaceful location but you could get to the nearest village in a few minutes by car so not in the middle of nowhere. We loved having a swimming pool on site. Once we had the pool to ourselves and the other time we... More

Just back from a week in the Broad Lodge. The lodge was well equip for our needs. There was the bonus of having Wifi. The swimming pool was ok if just used by one family at a time. Theres a small dvd collection and some board games/jigsaws/magazines/books in the pool room that you can use. Very isolated but that is... More

Stayed here last week in Wey Lodge as a family of four. Would thoroughly recommend it. There were a few small things missing or broken on arrival but on reporting them they were acknowledged/recitified. The lodge was spacious and comfortable with the added bonus of coming with bedding, towels and all those annoying little things you usually end up taking... More
