This is an excellent choice for accomodation and Labuan Bajo. The owners and staff of this hotel were lovely. Thet were extremely helpful and lovely in every way. The restauarant is simple but good and the pool is great. A perfect stop off en route to diving/ visiting Komodo National Park. Thanks guys from Carolyn and family

comfortable settings not luxurious, but the view from the deluxe room was breath taking. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Flores. Downtown is only a 15 minutes walk, and the sunsets here are just serene.

Ahhhh... The views are all stunning from the room, the restaurant and the pool. When I first did the research online, I thought that the photos must have been digitally enhanced? But the place is exactly what it looks like from the photos! The Deluxe room & its bathroom is spacious, comfortable and very clean. Our favorite part of the... More

We had a great stay at Golo Hilltop for 4 nights. Judith and Ingrid are really quick to respond by email and are very helpful once you arrive. We stayed 2 nights in the deluxe room (the best views!) And 2 in the standard room. Both were really clean and comfortable with good air con and the mini fridge which... More

Stayed one night only on a trip out to Komodo and Rinca. The location is stunning. the views amazing. Rooms large, clean and with good shower and balcony. Used pool only briefly in morning but what a setting, towels provided. Breakfast fine and we did have evening meal here as we were tired from our trip. Small menu but food was... More

It seems that everything has already been covered here, all I can do is to add my enthusiastic agreement to all of the positive reviews! In regards to the walk into town (several earlier reviews mentioned this as a problem), I did this twice a day (sometimes at night) and it was no problem at all. A fifteen minute walk... More

Our stay here was brief but very enjoyable. The hotel consists of separate rooms arranged over the hillside with a main reception and cafe bar. It's quite a simple place but very well done, and for the price I don't think can be beaten. For me it's preferrable to a large hotel. We were collected from the airport and had... More

I am not a sunbaking kind of person, but the pool and the views at the Golo Hilltop are what would make me come all the way back to this corner of the earth time and time again. The hotel is fairly simply, but it is clean, the beds are comfortable, the air-conditioning and fans work, the hot water is... More

If you'd prefer to stay in a high rise hotel building with room service, meeting rooms, big swimming pool, bar, this is not for you. Staying in Golo Hilltop is more like a stay in a friend's house on the top of the hill that has a BEAUTIFUL, well maintained garden with a small cozy swimming pool and amazing ocean... More

My fiance and I decided to stay at Golo Hilltop Hotel after reading all the great reviews and falling in love with the pictures posted online. When we got there, we weren't disappointed. It is truly a stunning view of the ocean and town of Labuan Bajo and we would probably return just for that view! However, there were a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Golo Hilltop Hotel & Restaurant Flores, is a modest hotel, located in Labuan Bajo, a city at the tip of Flores Island in Indonesia. Labuan Bajo is a base to explore the surrounding islands for the world class diving, wildlife viewing and for some of the least crowded beaches and tiny islands and of course the infamous Komodo and Rinca.Golo Hilltop is a small Boutique Style hotel run by two Dutch women and presents a pleasant family atmosphere. It is situated on top of a hill about 1 km from the city centre, this makes it a quiet and relaxing place but everything is still on walk-able distance. This hotel is a haven for nature lover and adventurous and is away from the town area. The bungalows are spacey, bright and clean. Each bungalow has its own balcony providing nice views of the ocean and a daily sunset. It provides comfortable stay with a variety of guest’s rooms - deluxe, superior and standard rooms.
