We had an amazing end to our honeymoon here. Didn't dive - with a coral reef just metres from the beach we just hung out with all the marine life on our doorstep. Super relaxing all round - luxury but not at all snooty. I left a couple of items of clothing in my room by mistake and the staff... More

Angel island is the perfect place to enjoy time on the two beaches of the resort ( it is easy to sxim even at low tie) and to dive in komodo park. The luxury villas surrounded with hibiscus flowers are spacious with king size bed , armchair, sofa, table and mini bar with coffee ...The bathroom in and outside is amazing!!... More

We stayed there two nights, together with 3 of our sons and daughters, after travelling around Indonesia for two weeks. The resort gives you the sensation of exclusivity with no need of ostentation, is just perfect. There is no swimming pool and you do not need it, the beach is the water transparent and the rooms are very well equipped... More

We stayed 4 nights in this lovely island resort and had a great time diving in komodo national park and also visited the komodo dragons in Rinca island. Loved the garden trail of hibiscus flowers around the bungalows which made me "get lost" a couple of times :) There was another couple with us on the dive boat and we... More

The island is located around 20 min from LB’s . it is a bit remote and perfect to detox from modern active life. Electricity runs in the resort . it is upper market resort, all inclusive, except alcohol There are only 10 bungalows or so. no pool, 2 private beaches, but only one is still good. The room is well... More

My wife and I stayed at Angel Island Resort in early October. It took a ~30-minute boat ride from Labuan Bajo to get to the island. Upon landing on the public beach, we were greeted by a local staff who took us to the resort, which is just adjacent to the beach. The villa is spacious with private outdoor bathroom... More

Beautiful island in its natural state. The bungalows & dining area are constructed so that they blend into the natural surrounding. Rooms are very comfortable & quiet, tastefully & simply decorated, with outdoor shower. Diving is amazing...great visibility and full of life, both large and small...from sharks & mantas to tiny colorful nudibranchs & shrimps. However, more suitable for advanced... More

Arriving at Angel Island we were greeted by a rude welcome from the owner who complained that we had come too early. Upon inquiring about the dive possibilities for divers without a lot of experience, she explained that "everybody knows that Komodo is not for beginners" (their website says otherwise) and that we basically shouldn't have come here. A great... More

I was at Angel island resort this August 2014. You arrive by boat to the Bidadari island that has only this resort so you have the island all to yourself. When I visited there were only 11 guests that grew to a bigger number on the second day but you can never have more than 24 people since the resort... More

When we arrived to Angel island after almost 2 weeks of travel in Indonesia - we were shocked :) We felt that we came to heaven. A small resort with just 10 bungalows, 2 private beaches and perfect coral reef. Bungalows are huge, nice decorated and well equiped, distance between them is such that you feel like in private house.... More
