We were in Richmond for a brief weekend to visit family and booked a studio self-contained unit. It was very clean, well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We had a good quality bed, shower, washbasin and toilet, TV, dining table and chairs, easy chairs, luggage rack, heater, well-equipped kitchenette (Microwave, fridge, hotplate, toaster, jug, crockery, pots and pans, bowls and utensils)... We opted for a motel room here. The rooms were clean, but a little on the dated side decor wise and a touch on the small side. There was nothing wrong with the room, it just wasn't exciting! That was ok though as it was just somewhere to crash for the night. The lady on reception, Helen, was super nice... More

We stayed in 2 Bedroom Kitchen Cabin in early April 2014. It was good value for 2 bedroom accommodation. It was clean, TV reception was good. Kitchen was fully equipped. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk & drinking coffee provided. Overall experience was good except noisiness at night because our room was just next to communal bathroom and toilet.

Our first impression was that the motel style unit was a little plain, but this older style unit was huge inside!! A separate bedroom and huge lounge, with a small courtyard through the sliding doors. Although the layout was unusual, it proved more than adequate and was spotlessly clean. The park had great amenities and was tidy and well cared... More

We have just left this camp site, and my husband was so impressed with the cleanliness of the place that he went and told the Manager, having said that he didn't do the cooking, why oh why have they got such sub standard cookers, those awful 2 plates on top of the freestanding oven that are just completely useless, try... This stay formed part of our camping expedition all over New Zealand and yet again we were not disappointed with the top 10 sites. This was incredibly clean and one which we would happily return to! Shops are quite close and the most amazing beach at rabbit island is just 20 mins away. One thing to note; the ground is... More

We stayed 4 nights in our tent here as a base to explore Nelson and surrounding areas. The hosts are lovely and welcoming, the facilities are clean, newly painted and well maintained. BUT, things to note: 1) The holiday park is in the middle of a suburban area and the tent site we had (4) backs onto houses who played... More

The park was a bit unusual due it's emphasis on accommodation rather than camping. The initial impression driving in, is of a build up 70ies style Motel sadly, but inside the units and facilities were fabulous. Our unit was very clean, recently renovated and had great beds! The shower/toilet facilities were right around the corner. Extremely clean, well looked after.... More

We were booked into a standard cabin for 2 nights, it was a quiet time of the year and miserable weather and we were asked if we would like to be upgraded. There was no hesitation from us!!! The hosts were very accommodating in letting us stay later in the morning to watch the America's Cup yachting, which at that stage... More

We stayed in a Self Contained Unit - Studio which was comfortable, but why do these type of places fit small screen TVs when you can purchase a 32inch at a low cost now.The unit was clean & was great to have a small bottle of milk given to us instead of having the longlasting milk seating in the fridge.
