It's all been said before...Beautiful accommodation in the middle of a banana plantation. Incredibly friendly and welcoming. Many thanks to all the family ...Alberto and Gustavo for their assistance and to Mum (who talked us through the history of the Finca and the family) and Dad who we were lucky to meet. We stayed for 4 nights (thereby 'earning' our... More

As I fully endorse all the positive comments from previous guests I will only add a few thoughts that might help future visitors. The rooms are well-furnished, the lighting rather subdued however for older eyes, with a spacious bathroom and a huge shower. When encountering a problem with the wash basin two workmen with serious tools arrived within five minutes... More

Just back from 9 nights at El Navio and could not fault a thing. We eat most nights, food cooked by Beatrice both local and excellent.Hotel made us a picnic lunch every day at very reasonable cost. A car is advisable as you are a bit remote. Staff could not be more helpful

The place is a corner of paradise on the sunny, but touristic, south-east of the island. Owners and staff are very friendly and efficient. Each room has a beautiful private terrace overlooking the plantation and the sea. Breakfast is very good and varied. The place is quiet and very well thought, one of the owners is an architect and designed... More

This is the hotel for you if you want something away from the crowds and the bars in Tenerife. Tucked away in the middle of a banana plantation, and whilst the local town is host to one of the largest hotels on the island, that hotel is really self-contained, and doesn't spill out into the town, so what is basically... We stayed for 2 nights at El Navio.....everything was excellent and was just as viewed on their website. The family, the tranquil location and the true banana plantation experience make this an ideal place to stay. We have already made a reservation for April next year. Thank you everybody.

Hotel El Navio is a very amazing place, quite, silent, romantic, inside a Banana Plantation. The rooms are clean and enough large, with a sweet terrace looking bananas and sea (and have a good looking of stars and milky way during the night, but also fireworks). Hotel El Navio has a really particular cusine, principally based on Mango, Papaya and... More

On arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff who showed us around the grounds. The rooms and sun terraces are fantastic. The views from here & the pool have to be seen to be believed. Every morn at breakfast we were served a jug of freshly squeezed fruit juice and a bowl of chopped fruit along with a nice... More

We only stayed here for a couple of days but couldn't have been happier with our choice of hotel. The hotel itself is approx. 15 min walking from the village of Alcala which, unlike most of the towns in the south, retains its small town charm despite also having 1 mega resort. The rooms are quite basic but if we... More

The welcome on the arrival was very hospitable. We were personally shown the grounds, the pool, the terrace, the room and the restaurant where also the breakfast is served. The room is not that big and every room has its own terrace with a table, 2 chairs and also sunbeds with a view over the banana plantation and La Gomera... More
