Everything was superb! Super friendly and helpful staff; stylish but simple and super clean room with ocean view; professional approach to customer service - all staff went out of their way to meet our needs. All arrangements eg transport, renting a bike, finding a restaurant or local information worked perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and management.... More

The Javacove was great. The pick up from Yogyakarta was ready waiting for us ready for the long drive. The arrival at the hotel, despite of very late, was perfect, all the details for our room were ready and the nice welcome drink was a nice touch after the drive. The room, the mini ocean view, was great even at... More

This a a great place to stay for surfing families and couples. Having a pool overlooking the local break just adds a little bit of luxury. Rooms are good size, some cable TV if you get sick of the surf. We stayed in the surfers rooms the first time and they were fine. We upgraded to the larger room this... More

Just returned from 9 great relaxing days at JavaCove, with my wife and 3 kids. All had a fantastic time in a great hotel, with even better staff (cant say enough nice things about the staff). Most mornings, kids up at 5:30am and out for a surf before returning for breakfast (Dad went out a little later). An adventure to... More

Beautifully decorated with attention to detail, comfortable and friendly. Great little boutique hotel mostly catering to surfers, plenty of good eating places and some fabulous walking on the beaches. Great place to chill out and be in the middle of a real fishing village community , not touristy or overrun with visitors. Hard to get to, a long 3 hour... More

It is very hard to find bad food in Java but this is a place where you can get it. Because we have been travelling for a while we went to get some "western food". I ordered meatball pizza what was just a "pizza" from fridge + some toppings. It was burned from bottom and still wet from top. With... More

Thank you for your feedback LeeKasemets and we apologize for not following up with you before this. Unfortunately I have had serious health problems so have not been at the hotel for a couple of months and our Operations Manager was not at the hotel at the time that you visited our restaurant. So sorry the food (and the staff's... More

The hotel is simple no star but okay. The bathroom was stink and the hotel could not do anything with it. The location is great for beginner surfers. Sand bottom beach, good wave and pretty safe for beginner. Doesn't have any activity from friday morning until around 15.00 hrs due to local culture.

The hotel is right at the beach where you can surf, that is a big plus. Also, since the hotel is quite secluded, you really get the 'getaway' feeling. The prices are however quite high for indonesia and for the very reason the hotel is so close to the beach, of an event is going on at the beach, it... More
