Beautifully decorated with attention to detail, comfortable and friendly. Great little boutique hotel mostly catering to surfers, plenty of good eating places and some fabulous walking on the beaches. Great place to chill out and be in the middle of a real fishing village community , not touristy or overrun with visitors. Hard to get to, a long 3 hour... More

It is very hard to find bad food in Java but this is a place where you can get it. Because we have been travelling for a while we went to get some "western food". I ordered meatball pizza what was just a "pizza" from fridge + some toppings. It was burned from bottom and still wet from top. With... More

The hotel is simple no star but okay. The bathroom was stink and the hotel could not do anything with it. The location is great for beginner surfers. Sand bottom beach, good wave and pretty safe for beginner. Doesn't have any activity from friday morning until around 15.00 hrs due to local culture.

The hotel is right at the beach where you can surf, that is a big plus. Also, since the hotel is quite secluded, you really get the 'getaway' feeling. The prices are however quite high for indonesia and for the very reason the hotel is so close to the beach, of an event is going on at the beach, it... More

2nd Trip to Javacove on Lebaran Holiday, and was not disappointed. One of the most convenience and comfort relaxing hotel. 1st of all, the location: Literally you can just walk to the beach, its just a few meters away accross the street. Batu Karas beach is one of the best beach in Indonesia, good for surfing (for me only using... More

We had an excellent experience at JavaCove. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. Leading up to our vacation - the hotel answered my multiple emails and were very patient with all the questions we had. The hotel was very clean, the food was good, and by the pool, there were bean bag chairs that were very comfortable to relax... More

Beautiful hotel. Great value-for-money at the best location in Pangandaran/Cijulang. Great service. The assistant-manager Iman must be mentioned especially. He has good knowledge of the area and was of great help during our stay. The kitchen has room for improvement, but the neighbours are a great place to eat. Decent WiFi. Good beds. Amazing design of the hotel.

We absolutely loved staying at Javacove and will definitely return and stay there again. The room (Terrace Deluxe) had the potential to sleep 4 (double and two singles) was well appointed, clean and great. This room came with a free breakfast which was really great and we found that we only needed one other meal during the day so this... More

Java Cove is located in a small, remote village. It is across the road from a volcanic sand beach that attracts many surfers and local tourists. There are a few genetic restaurants on the beach road but they all serve the uninspiring westernised Indonesian food. There are some small stalls selling a few bits and bobs but no ATMs or... More
