Myself, my partner and our young daughter stayed at this B&B for one night in June whilst visiting a friend for the week-end in Stratford...We stayed in The Alscott suite which was a real treat...A Four-poster bed ...Lovely Bath (in the bedroom) and a separate comfortable lounge where the staff very kindly installed a put-you-up bed for our daughter....The little... We booked the Elmdon room for one night. On arrival great confusion by staff - we weren't even asked to check in, taken to a different room then given the Bermondsey as the beds in the Elmdon had been moved. Very small room, nowhere to hang clothes, how do you use a dressing table with no mirror?, the loo was... More

Firstly may I offer our apologies for any confusion and we are sorry that you were not happy with the standard room. In terms of hanging space there is floor to ceiling hanging space to the left of the entrance door, along with hangers and we are sorry if you missed this. There are mirrors in the room but not... On our arrival, I confirmed my reservation and ordered drinks from the bar. The barmaid explained that a barrel for the Alscot Ale needed changing so I replied that I was happy to switch beers. No need, take a seat and in a moment or two, I'll bring it over to you. Twenty minutes later and my pint hasn't arrived.... More

My husband and I stayed in the All Stars room for one night on Saturday 12th April. We would thoroughly recommend this pub with rooms/B and B. Our room was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed. One benefit of the room, in our opinion, was that it was accessed from outside the pub through the courtyard although I'm not sure if... Wanted somewhere for a good meal . / business discussion / stay overnight. Slightly unfortunate the restuarant was very busy with a copule of large parties but we were given a table not too close to others. Very much at the gastropub end of the price scale but excellent quality. Restaurant WAY too hot. Rooms newly refurbed overlook car park... More

Many thanks for your feedback, and I'm not sure if I should apologise for the restaurant being busy or not, after all this is what we strive for, however I totally understand on this occasion you wanted somewhere quiet. We do have a couple of rooms within the pub/restaurant that we are happy to hire out should you need guaranteed... More

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and we couldn’t have wished for a more charming venue. Our room, the Alscot Suite, was spacious, warm, tastefully appointed (complete with 4 poster bed) and very comfortable. However the Wi fi internet is patchy We ate in the restaurant on both nights of our stay and the food was excellent.... More

We're delighted that you chose The Bell for your special occasion and delighted that you enjoyed! Apologies for the Wi-Fi, we have a new superfast broadband system and we did experience a few teething problems, fingers crossed all is now sorted and hopefully you will put that to the test on your next visit. Thanks again for your lovely comments... More

Stayed for one night in January 2014. The room had not been used recently it seemed and had not been freshly cleaned or properly prepared. The heating was turned off and the thermostat was only activated when we went to complain it was cold. The evening meal that we had with friends was excellent, as was the breakfast. However for... Apologies if the room was cold, we had an issue whereby the thermostat was located within another guest room and the guest had turned this down as opposed to the adjusting the radiator valves which is what we encourage, subsequently the heating in the connecting rooms also went off. This was resolved and again apologise for your inconvenience. More

I should firstly declare that our stay at the Bell was a prize in their Facebook draw. Stayed for the weekend in the Alscott Suite, which was gorgeous. Our suite featured a good sized sitting room with DVD player (great for cosying in when the weather is not suitable for exploring the Cotswolds), a wonderfully comfortable 4-poster bed, a bath... We stayed one night and arrived in the dark so couldn't appreciate how lovely the place was until we had a look round the next day.
