We loved everything : the large well-furnished room, the restaurant with delightful cuisine and excellent service, the garden planted with local herbs and vegetables, seeing the workers building the extension in the distance (we seemed to be in the middle of a fortified farm-castle among working Italians that did everything quietly and smilingly). The menu was deliciously sophisticated (one-star in... More

The rooms are so cute - old school style. The hotel itself is absolutely lovely, beautiful gardens, peacocks running around, great fresh cooked breakfast and a fine dining Michelin restaurant. They offer tours of the cheese and ham with tasting - all so good. It is quite out of the way though.

My fiancé and I spent a lovely night at Antica Corte Pallavicina Relais last week. We had driven by a few years past and the gorgeous property stuck with us ever since. When we needed a place to stay near Parma on this family vacation, we immediately knew where to call. The staff with absolutely lovely and accomodating. They responded... More

There is no question that this family cares deeply for their land, their agricultural heritage and for giving their guests the most authentic experience possible, with the highest quality in mind. The transformation of this lovely castello into a unique B&B is remarkable. The accommodation is first class and quite comfortable, but the food -- oh, my word -- the... More

We love to stay here with our chocolate labrador, Emma. Everything at the hotel and restaurant is perfect. Perhaps the best of all is the lovely staff...everyone is warm and welcoming. It is so hard to leave!

Elegantly appointed hotel with rooms to match. If you want to take a special someone for a romantic weekend getaway, look no further! It was sunset upon arrival at the corte and the view just took my breath away. From the moment I stepped in, the service was unbelievably attentive. Dinner at the restaurant inside the corte was also a... More

This is one of the most unique places that I have stayed in. Fantastic rooms, very comfortable and clean. Very atmospheric. Service was excellent. Very quiet and great food using traditional and local ingredients. Well worth a visit. Not your usual B&B.

We received an email less than a week prior to our check-in date informing us that the rooms that we booked nearly four months ago were in fact not available to us. It was explained to us that a group of guests who visit annually requested to come that same weekend so our rooms were given to them, despite the... More

Having read a good write up about this place, I really wanted to stay there and eat at the restaurant. They are closed on Monday, so we decided to stay there on a Monday night and have lunch in the restaurant on Tuesday. It was wonderful! After a nice lunch in Parma, we drove the 45 minutes to the Antica... More

This restored palace promises to stimulate all your senses. We took advantage of the farm tour, cheese making, a cooking class and time in the cellar with the aging culatello. We wandered in the garden and walked the country lanes. Bikes are available for those who want to venture further. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and found... More
