A truly magical place that encapsulates all that is wonderful about Italy, its food and wine, its history and architecture, but above all, its style and hospitality. I can't adequately describe how fantastic this place is. You need to come and experience it.

This is a lovely experience of a hotel and restaurant. A great deal of thought and knowledge of the history of the building and the area has gone into producing an exceptional environment for relaxing and enjoying the skills of the chef and his staff and for exploring the Po valley. The culatello is rightly famous and the degustazione of... More

There are no word to explain and describe this experience. The restaurant ins located in a suggestive region close to the river. Already before entering you are walking along the kitchen garden where you can see the vegetable used for the cookers. Before enter in the restaurant a tour of the building is proposed: the building has been renewed and... More

We stayed here two weeks ago and were a little let down by the accomodations as we expected more for the price. The room was small and not too clean we had bees in the room and mosquitoes. However the hotel staff was excellent and took care of all our needs. The resturant and food are the best you will... More

It was a 95F/35C kind of summer afternoon when we arrived. Giovanni welcomed us into our beautiful room which was tastefully restored with very intricate details all over the room - I love the free standing tub in the room! We were then whisked away for our cooking lesson with Salvatore, a very professional and technical pasta chef on site.... More

We stayed for 3 nights and used this as a base. We did day trips to Piacenza, Modena and Parma as well as visiting Busetto where we were given a short talk and tour of Giuseppe Verdi's home. We are planning to go back in the near future as I wish that we had stayed longer for the amazing food,... More

Antica Corte is a beautiful Hotel located in a very peaceful part of rural Italy. The room we were allocated was exquisite and charming and added immensely to our overall experience. There isn't a lot to do around the local area, however I would recommend that you check out Busetto (especially if you are a Verdi fan) and Fidenza (Fidenza... More

This is a unique experience for a short term. Let me be clear that this review is for the Hotel and not the Restaurant. I would recommend the Hotel for a short stay so that you can say you did. We stayed for seven days and used it as a home base. We should have stayed a day or two... More

Antica Corte Pallavicina allows us to pack in less than 24 hours some of the best experiences in our trip to Italy. First: the rooms are a charming, unexpected mix of antiques with contemporary design (lighting for instance). Second: visiting the basement where they age culatello ham and parmigiano cheese made me wonder whether I could just drop my current... More

Antica Corte Pallavincina is an amazing place in the heart of the Emilia Romagna countryside on the bank of the Po River. The castle, which includes 6 suites and a Michelin class restaurant, dates to the 16th century and is absolutely lovely. Chef Massimo has painstakingly restored the property where his ancestors lived and worked, into a world class restaurant... More
