Standard room had reasonably firm bed with great pillows and doona. Shower is a bit small and of poor design for a renovated property - water gets onto the floor easily. TV is too small and has poor digital reception - no foxtel in rooms either. Positives are that noise is at a minimum and staff are great. Restaurant is... More

Stayed here one night. Modern decor in the room but very comfortable. Bed was great. Work desk was adequately sized and the chair was comfortable. Hung out in the lobby area and talked to some of the workers. All were friendly and accommodating. Then went downstairs to the brew pub for a pizza and a selection of craft brews. All... More

Dear Steveinlex, Thank you for taking the time to review Atura Dandenong. I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and enjoyed the company of our team. The microbrewery is a great point of difference for a suburban hotel. I'm glad it added to your experience. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Kind regards, LISA... More

What a great hotel! We decided to have a family 'get out of city' weekend and found this Oasis. The hotel is like no other, industrial chic, reception area that is so welcoming we didn't want to go straight to room. Behind reception is a cafe/bar area we grabbed hot chocs, played table tennis, & they had dress up corner... More

A very clean and tidy property. The staff are friendly and always acknowledge you. The only downside would be the waits to be served in the restaurant. The meals were nice and good value. Handy location.

Stayed here a few dozen times. Previously Chifley, now Atura. Recent renovations haven't been too disruptive. Rooms are ok. Same old same old downstairs in the cattle class at least. The new lobby is frankly awful in my opinion but if you really want to be offended try the "restaurant" or microbrewery downstairs. The last 6 times I've eaten here... More

Good location for working in Dandenong. Near some fast food joints, good when finishing work late at night. Place is still finishing renos but the bar area looks nice when running. 24hr food service available from first week of march to.

We stayed here in February and commuted into the city on the Sth Gippsland Hwy/Monash Freeway(M1)/Citylink to attend events in the Melbourne CBD. I stayed here for 2 nights for business in February 2015. Rooms are modern and the bed is comfortable. Free wifi however would be nice to have pay tv. There is a very good restaurant and microbrewery as part of the hotel which makes it so much easier. Definitely try the wheat beer!
