We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Notchland inn. The owner, Les, was more than accomadating and made us feel at home. Mark was also great and provided us with some info of the hikes close by. Their dogs are extremely well behaved and if was so nice to have bfast as they lay by our feet. Our room was... More

Stayed here from a Groupon purchase. It was a fantastic place for my girlfriend and I to relax and recharge. Place was secluded... which was exactly what we were looking for. Food was amazing! From home cooked bread with breakfast to a three course meal for dinner. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Even the dogs were polite 😛. Looking... More

This is a beautiful property that offers both room accommodations and cottages. We stayed in Willard Cottage which was perfect and enjoyed the facilities of the main house. We had full cook to order breakfast and a 5 course dinner that would made us want to stay another night! The owners are very pleasant and you definitely feel at home.... More

Worst ever hotel experience for our Family of five! Be prepared that if with children then you will have to eat behind closed doors totally separated! They treat you like someone with an infection! Extra fees for everything and no kind service at all! The two managers even forced stuff to be impolite with us! Terrible experience with family! Yhe... More

During our years at Notchland (over 23) many wonderful families have stayed with us and reported having had great experiences here. Many of those families return again and again and we’ve have had the pleasure of seeing the young children of those guests grow to young adulthood. Some are now joining us with their own small ones. We are saddened... More

My wife and I opted to stay here based upon a visit of a friend who ate at the inn. Its a old inn, in a very rural area. If you like quiet, nature and hiking this is the place to stay. The staff can come off a little cold but when you get talking with them they do open... More

Great peaceful setting. Quaint historic building. Close to wonderful hiking and scenery. Non-intrusive owners. Personally, we prefer the non-intrusive style vs the sometimes overly intrusive style of some B&B owners. The rooms were quiet, but some of the furniture is showing wear (arms of chairs and wobbly night stands). The shower in our room was a standup with a curtain... More

Everything about this inn was amazing! We stayed in Evans room, a lovely suite on the second floor of the main building. It has a balcony overlooking a pond and a gazebo, a wood burning fireplace, a large jacuzzi tub, and skylights above the sleigh bed. Cosy furniture, oil lamps... we almost wished for bad weather, because we did not... More

The Notchland Inn first caught my eye from my vantage point aboard the dome car of the Conway Scenic Railroad back in 2012. I always wanted to stay there and finally was able to do so at the end of April this year. Notchland is full of treasures and it is obvious that Ed and Les have put their hearts... More

My husband and I just stayed for our fifth time at The Notchland. We were there for four days and absolutely loved it. It is peaceful and relaxing. Our room was beautiful, with a jacuzzi tub, large bathroom, exceptionally comfortable bed, and lovely decor. Breakfast was great--a good choice of options and wonderful service. We hiked all around the area... More

Our stay was only for one night this past April. On arrival the Innkeepers assistant quickly checked us in, explained our room in detail along with all the other common rooms at the Inn. As we settled in and headed downstairs to the living room, this wonderful gentleman was already stoking and lighting the fireplace for us. He was available... More
