We visited this Inn over the wnter holiday for the second time, and know why we went back, and why we will go again. Our hosts were just that. You know that you are in thier home, and that they treat you as persnal guests. The atmosphere is just so relaxing. The meals were just right. They were perfect ends... More

My boyfriend and I took a midweek getaway to celebrate his birthday and were very impressed with our choice! The staff at The Notchland Inn were friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious (we had dinner there one evening which was outstanding and the breakfasts were great) and the room was spacious and cozy with a seating area by the... Overall there isn't anything really wrong with Notchland. The other reviews sometimes mention that the rooms are dated and could use an upgrade so you know what to expect. I found also that the bathroom tub wasn't inviting. We also had a throw pillow on the bed with a stain so with that it never felt pristinely clean. On the... More

We stayed at Notchland Inn during the week and I have to say that this was the most calm B&B / hotel I've ever gone to. This B&B offers a very well kept old-style property, fantastic breakfast, reasonable rooms, free WiFi and free pistachios. Strangely enough, there is no front desk, so you just wander around until someone passes by.... More

The Notchland Inn is a hidden gem in the White Mountains. We can't say enough about the level of service. The owners, Ed and Les, have a wonderful staff and you can tell how much everyone that works there cares about the Inn. The breakfast and dinner were the best meals we had on our trip, the rooms are tasteful... More

My boyfriend and I decided we would go away for Christmas 2014. Living social was sure a huge help in narrowing down choices. I came across the Notchland Inn and immediately knew this would be the place. Located in the White Mountain National Forest, The Notchland Inn, in Harts Location, NH was the perfect place for relaxation, enjoyment, and adventure.... More

This was our 15th year returning to Notchland to celebrate my wife's birthday (1/15). We now stay for four nights over Martin Luther King weekend (Thurs-Mon) and love every minute of it. The rooms are each a little different but all have a wood burning fireplace that the guests actually load and light and enjoy. There are also fireplaces in... More

We just returned from our third stay at the Notchland. We spent our first two nights in Sandwich cottage- separate from the inn (no wifi or cell reception, so completely off the grid), this cottage was gorgeous and comfortable. The kitchen was complete with everything you could need, as was the rest of the cottage. One room was clearly the... More

My wife and I stayed at the Notchland Inn in the dead of winter last March. We both have jobs that claim our time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so we were looking for a place that would make working impossible—disconnected from the Internet and unreachable by cell phone. When I found out that there was no... More

The Notchland Inn is the definition of a classic New Hampshire Inn. This is my second visit in the past 7 years. The large idyllic victorian building is in a beautiful section of the White Mountains, where you can explore both nature and village. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed and all have real wood burning fireplaces (an incredibly rare... More
