We really enjoyed our days at the Netherton Farm. The view, the excellent breakfast, the animals and the pragmatic and helpful inkeeper. We also loved being surrounded by the astonishing library. A super place to be for families and for adults and a good base to explore Cromarty, watch dolphins and use the "two cars" ferry with turntable.

We stayed 2 nights October 2014 and felt very much at home at Netherton Farm B&B. The welcome was warm and the rooms equally so - very cosy and welcoming and plenty of hot water. Ideally located and easy to find just off the A9. Breakfast both mornings was a treat and set us up very well for a couple... More

We had a one night stay at Netherton Farm and can highly recommend this very homely b and b. We arrived in the dark on a wet and wild night and were warmly welcomed and shown to a very comfy immaculately clean accommodation. I had the best sleep ever and didn't even hear the resident cockerel! On entering the dining... More

We really enjoyed our one night stay here. Our room and bathroom was clean and very comfortable. The view was nice, out over the fields to the water. The innkeeper was very helpful with a great recommendation for dinner at The Anderson in Fortrose. Loved the roosters, hens, pigs. Was a refreshing place to stay. Also, the breakfast was just... Fantastic location with comfortable room and superb views over the firth. Lovely breakfast with homemade sausages and eggs from the chickens seen outside. A wonderful place to stay on the way through the Highlands.

Fantastic location with stunning views. On the middle of a hill in the countryside, nothing in walking distance but nice and quiet. 10minutes drive in to Dingwall for food and 30 minutes in to Inverness city centre, just off the A9. Beautiful and cosy home, the owner takes great care with all rooms, which were all unique and comfortable. Breakfast... More

We stayed as part of our John o'Groats to Lands End charitable bike ride. We were incredibly thankful for the superb hospitality and generosity of Romay. The house has been wonderfully created with an excellent attention to detail and a mix of some incredible pieces of furniture. We were especially impressed by the excellent selection of books throughout the house.... More

This B&B has a spectacular view from the bedroom window overlooking the Cromarty Firth and is quite breathtaking. We stayed one night with our 13 year old son as a stopping off point on our way up to John O Groats but at a cost of £80, I thought this was quite pricey overall for what we received. The hostess...
