We stayed as part of our John o'Groats to Lands End charitable bike ride. We were incredibly thankful for the superb hospitality and generosity of Romay. The house has been wonderfully created with an excellent attention to detail and a mix of some incredible pieces of furniture. We were especially impressed by the excellent selection of books throughout the house.... More

This B&B has a spectacular view from the bedroom window overlooking the Cromarty Firth and is quite breathtaking. We stayed one night with our 13 year old son as a stopping off point on our way up to John O Groats but at a cost of £80, I thought this was quite pricey overall for what we received. The hostess... My husband had been here twice before on cycling trips and loved it. This time there were 6 of us. We were greeted by tea and shortbread and help on where to book for dinner. Romay was the perfect host. It was the best night sleep I had on the trip and the breakfast was excellent.

Stayed here with my daughter at the beginning of June for 2 nights. From the minute we arrived treated like part of the family. Romay's trust was incredible as she left us alone in the house the next morning (after feeding us with incredible breakfast)to take a fellow guest to the rail station in Inverness. All the rooms are tastefully... More

We had a one night stay here en route to Orkney. We received a warm welcome with a pit of tea and biscuits. We could have saturating breakfast all mornings as Romay kept offering us more food! Our dogs were welcome here and our stay was very relaxed. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing view from my bedroom window - I couldn't bring myself to shut the curtains all night! Romay is the friendly hostess here and she cooks a mean scrambled egg in the morning - my favourite you'll realise from my trip advisor reviews so I don't trust every B&B to have a go! Before that though I was offered a... More

I had a lovely weekend here a couple of weeks ago. I shared a non-ensuite twin room with a friend and it had plenty of room and storage space, comfy beds and a sink (which made things easier as we were sharing a bathroom with another friend). The electric blanket was greatly appreciated though not needed as it turned out... More

Instantly welcoming, Romay and her quirky farmhouse captures your heart...and that's if you can take your eyes off the stunning view of Cromity Firth! Don't stay here at your peril, it'll make your break, I promise you!

We arrived, hot and bothered, running late, but from the moment Romay came out to meet us, we relaxed. Perfect location, fantastic and plentiful breakfast, and, well - so friendly. Romay immediately showed us to our room, which was beautifully appointed, with a very comfortable bed,and totally spotless. As well as the usual tea and coffee, there was a large... More

While on a family road trip through Scotland, we stayed at Netherton Farm B&B for one night on our way to the Isle of Skye. Located a little outside of the sleepy town Culbokie, it is situated amongst picturesque fields. We received a very warm welcome by easy-going and charming Romay. We sat on the porch, watched dusk setting in... More
