While on a family road trip through Scotland, we stayed at Netherton Farm B&B for one night on our way to the Isle of Skye. Located a little outside of the sleepy town Culbokie, it is situated amongst picturesque fields. We received a very warm welcome by easy-going and charming Romay. We sat on the porch, watched dusk setting in... More

We stayed 1 night but was reluctant to leave! Loved it so much. So comfortable, friendly and views were stunning. Great food in the pub recommended by Romey. Great breakfast and really interesting and helpful chat in the morning. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

We spent three nights with Romay at Netherton and felt very welcomed. We were lucky enough to have a front room where the views were outstanding. We spent a day driving around Loch Ness & Cairngorms National Park where there was some lovely scenery, but when we turned into the driveway to Netherton, the view beat everything we'd seen. Romay... Wow! Stunning views, the warmest of welcomes, good bike storage, great showers/baths and wifi - all these key criteria for our Land's End to John O'Groats trip. A great recommendation for a gastronomic feast at the nearby Colbokie Inn (we were advised in advance to book and glad we did). Superb porridge, homemade jam, marmalade and sausages – all to... More

I have returned several times to Netherton since my original visit because it is simply the best. The views, the welcome, the convenient location, the friendliness of the owner Romay, and the standard of food and general comfort are unbeatable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here to anybody, but it is certainly an ideal centre for day trips... More

We (party of three and a very obedient dog) decided to stay at Netherton Farm for a night en route to the Orkneys. Whilst the location was beautiful and the accomodation provided comfortable ie plenty hot water, good water pressure, clean rooms and the breakfast lovely, we found the owner Romay a little eccentric to say the least. We had... More

Upon arrival the owner provided a welcoming pot of tea and biscuits. The B&B is on a working farm. A good choice of well cooked breakfast. The bedroom was clean bright and large albeit in the eaves. To my surprise there was no lock on the bedroom door. The Culbokie Inn a 10 minute walk away provided an excellent evening... More

Stayed for one night, prior to flying home from Inverness. Very clean and comfortable room. Amazing breakfast with great variety of items available. Lovely view over the Cromarty Firth and conveniently situated for exploring the Black Isle. Very friendly owner; with piglets and chickens adding to the farmhouse experience.

The view from the house across the Cromarty Firth is wonderful. The outside of the house is a little rustic but as soon as you step inside it is beautiful. The room was beautifully decorated with excellent facilities. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit to compliment the haggis and black pudding. There is only 1 pub within walking... I stayed here for one night on business in July this year. It is one of these places that has something very special about it - magical almost. I have some bittersweet memories of this area going way back to my teenage years and into adulthood and the stay here brought memories flooding back. I was dissappointed that I only... More
