We visited for a quick getaway for our anniversary. Lovely garden and grounds which were covered in daffodils. Excellent service at the restaurant. We highly recommend our experience at this very special place and look forward to returning agin soon.

For our last night in England before relocating to Barbados we stayed at Gravetye. From the moment we entered I knew we were in for a treat and all the staff should be congratulated on the high level of discreet and personal service we received. After a walk around the stunning gardens and a drink in the bar (try the... More

The building itself is remarkable - ancient but modern. You need to go twice a year, once in the spring summer when the beautiful gardens are full of gorgeousness and once in the dead of winter to enjoy sitting by the crackling log fires. Excellent staff are always helpful, the receptionist even offered to wrap my wife's birthday present when... More

From the moment we were met at our car to the time we walked back to the car, it felt like we were the most important visitors at the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. The ratio of staff to guests appeared very high. The hotel was well decorated, the rooms were spotlessly clean with beautiful furnishings and everything had... More

Stayed for weekend in mid March, weather was truly amazing and helped us enjoy every aspect of this amazing hotel. The service was amazing, food and wine superb. Pre-dinner cocktails were gorgeous. My husband had arranged for a mobile spa service to come in and give me a facial and she was very good, I am presuming the hotel helped... More

We made a one-night last minute booking; if only we could have stayed longer! From the warmth of the welcome when we arrived to the manifold charms of the house and the excellence of the food and service, it was all near-perfect. As others have remarked, it is a country house, rather than a hotel. The house has a wonderful distinctive... More

I'm an Angophile so naturally this would appeal to me. One of the great properties In all of England. Fabulous food, impeccable service,Trout fishing, and incomparable gardens makes this place one of a kind. The architecture embodies everything I love about England. Gravetye will bless you.

Our daughter bought us a night at Gravetye Manor for Christmas. What an amazing gift. From the second we passed through the gates until we left it felt like we were private guests at a country house. The personal welcome was lovely and our comfortable room, Bay, kept us cosy on a very cold and wet day. We had the... More

Thank you Mike and Paul for a wonderful visit once again last Sunday. Joe and I have been to you before and as always it doesn't disappoint. Beautiful food (lunch) and service as always and a lovely walk in the grounds afterwards. Followed by coffee by the fire on our return. You all couldn't have done enough for us and... More

We visited last weekend for lunch to celebrate my mother-in-law's 80th birthday. From the moment the doorman opened the car doors to let us out, to the moment he opened them again for us to get back in, we felt as though we had been transported back to a different era - a gracious country house weekend. The staff and... More
