Went yesterday for lunch with friends, an experience we repeat several times a year. Food and service were exemplary as usual but unfortunately for us and all the others eating, the restaurant was invaded by eight ladies who appeared ignorant of the fact that other diners were enjoying their lunch over subdued conversation respecting their neighbours. They entered talking at the... Went for a post Christmas getaway, instantly felt away from everything, very relaxed. A wonderful old building, with quirky features, the staff were friendly and attentive, food terrific, and overall just a wonderful atmosphere. The only minor irk, was the adding of a 12.5% service charge, every time you had a drink in the bar, my preference is to specifically... More

We've just spent two nights at Gravetye - great food, great staff and with marvellous old buildings full of charm, character and style. Outside there is a world class garden surrounded by some of England's most beautiful rolling countryside. You can't beat the place if you want a very 'English' break

Went with close neighbours for pre-Christmas meal. A very good experience as always. Service was equal to calibre of dishes. Set menu was very good, but we could have a la carte had we wished. Unfortunately the weaher wasn't good, so we did not enjoy the gardens, which is a treat in itself.

My wife and I had looked at the hotel some 2 months prior to our anniversary date, so we had a good idea what to expect. We were not disappointed. On arrival you could smell the open fires which was very welcoming. Then we were shown where the bar, restaurant and lounge areas were located and our room which was... More

Stay and eat here if you are looking for a beautiful British experience. The hotel itself is full of old world charm; four poster beds, real fires and great service. The food is so delicious you would not want to go elsewhere for supper and the gardens are just gorgeous. No pool or spa but non the worse for that.... More

Recently had afternoon tea here to celebrate a big birthday on a chilly wet January day. On arrival the Manor felt rather cold inside - I was reluctant to remove my coat! The beautiful room where we had the tea was also chilly initially but the large log fire warmed it up reasonably well although I noticed some people left... More

To stay in surroundings such as Graetye Manor offers is wonderful enough but to have food of this quality is a rare combination. Well known for the incredible gardens this establishment offers other treats such as its Michelin starred restaurant. A lovely restaurant that is also used as the breakfast room has well trained waiting staff and precise, deliciious food... More
