Our 2-night stay was distinctly average, Admittedly we made a last-minute booking and had to take what was available - which was the 'Garden Suite'. Although the bedroom was clean, it was a bit like staying at granny's house - full of pointless nick-nacks. I appreciate that many of these may hold special memories for Rosalind but it really did... We stayed at Manor for 3 nights and I felt as being at home immediately when Rosalind greeted us at our arrival. Rosalind and Richard were very accomodating in cooking breakfast to our satisfaction and also making sure that our stay would be fantastic. The room was very well furnished as well as spotless throughout. Definitely a must if you... More

We happened by chance in this pretty village where time seems to slow down, and if we got to the Manor Farm where we were struck by the tranquility of the place. And our expectations were met, the B & B is gorgeous, warm, cozy and clean and certainly suitable for a stay of peace and tranquility. The occupier, Ms... More

My husband and his brother and sister and law, the latter visiting from France, stayed here overnight last week. Our room was much superior to that of our guests, who felt rather cramped in theirs. Delicious breakfast, welcoming hostess, easy to get into Wells. Perfect stopover

We decided to take a Winter break and having stayed at Manor Farm some years ago, decided to spend a few days there again. We made a good choice and enjoyed the place just as much out of season as in. The Guest House is spotless and it was very much a home from home - a real credit to... More

I am a teacher, and I, and two of my colleagues take our Twelfth Grade Students to Europe for a month each spring. In 2003, I saw Manor Farm written up in "Special Places to Stay" and wrote to Rosalind, describing our school and our students, and asking if we could stay at Manor Farm for three nights. Special, is... More

Have often stayed at Manor Farm and enjoyed nothing but kindness. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable; the food is fresh and excellent - eggs from the hens one sees pecking around - ; the garden is lovely and the view is unique. Roz , the landlady, looks after her guests as if they were members of her family,... More
