Fantastic cabin- everything you would need - cosy, beautiful decor, immaculate and spotlessly clean. Views stunning and walks through the countryside wonderful. So peaceful. Amiee was brilliant - if needed help she (or Peter) were there on the end of a phone - and nothing was too much trouble. Very lucky with weather - only rained on the day went... More

I don't usually write reviews but I just feel so upset about the level of service we received, I just had to say something. Myself, my husband, two daughters and our two friends had a 4 night stay in chestnut lodge. On arrival was very happy about how clean the lodge was and the service we received when checking in.... Had a wonderful week at athelington lodge. We stayed in ash - after seeing the photos we were worried but we needn't of been - the lodge was lovely as were the grounds. We visited walberswick beach and harbour twice which is about an half hr drive away along lovely scenic roads. We also visited Wroxham for a boat tour... More

Just returned following a lovely relaxing weekend break. We had an Elite2 cabin. It was fitted out with washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, double oven, hob, extractor fan, hot tub, sauna and every bit of kitchen ware you needed. We arranged a Tesco delivery for our weekend supplies and saved ourselves time and effort. The beds and linen were comfortable and very... More

Stayed here for the weekend, for my birthday! The location is perfect, peaceful and in the heart of the countryside. The lodge itself is nicely decorated and very clean. A few things that would add to the luxury and would have made my stay even better would be soap/toiletries in the bathroom and a hand towel for each person staying.... More

Overall the log cabin (caravan covered in wood) looked appealing and welcoming. The cabin was clean but not sparkling ie the cooker and windows had not been cleaned. The while cabin would benefit from being updated. But a relaxing weekend.

Our first holiday with our new puppy and I wasn't sure what kind of accommodation to expect as dogs were allowed but even though we only managed to book an original lodge and not an Elite it was fine. The lodge was spacious with a bathroom and ensuite and clean my only issues were the bed was uncomfortable a new... More

Me and my boyfriend have just arrived home from a lovely weekend at Athelington Hall. It was our first visit here, and we stayed in the Walnut Cabin (elite 1) it was SPOTLESS! We were shocked at how spacious the lodge was! We made good use of the hot tub.. and sauna! The location is very peaceful, literally in the... More

Booked Original cabin and found out Original meant 12 years old, dirty, tatty, broken toilet, trim coming off shower, marks all over walls and flimsy curtains. Complained and got free upgrade to Elite. Completely different story. Spacious, clean, bright and only 3 years old. Location - took over an hour to get to Southwold. Single track roads with poor signage.... More
