Three to 4 hr drive fr Manila. Drive and traffic not bad as I thought it would be. Location itself is kinda in the middle of a residential area. But the place itself is not hard to find. Upon entering you will be greeted by a guardia civil with matching Salakot. Nice touch :). We went straight to the registration... More

A very interesting development but the whole area is still under construction. The room we had was excellent however very expensive for what you got. The food, free breakfast, not fit for a dog, flies just crawling over the food. Snacks at a restaurant by the canal, ok but again to many flies, just wondered what the kitchen was like.... More

After much anticipation...what a complete & utter disappointment. Admire your efforts for keeping historical & cultural architecture of the Philippines but in selling your overnight packages it is by far OVER PRICED FOR WHAT YOU GET! No proper oversight on maintainence = 30°C sauna in a PHP7K per night per room which was reported twice 8pm & then 430am! Leaking... More

Quaint, rustic glimpse of how life in Philippine provinces were like. Gives reverence to old world architecture, Spanish colonial design and rustic charm. Walking along cobble stone streets during a cool morning is enough to make me forget about all the worries from a 9 to 5 job. Luckily this place is only about a 3 hour drive from Metro... More

A must-visit place.. Compared to other resorts Las Casas offers you to relive Filipino-Spanish era with it's relaxing ambience and sight you're surely enjoy. Everything there is picturesque, even walls are. Customer service was nice too. The Cafe Marivent which is the main resto of Las Casas was expensive. The food doesn't equate its price. But it doesn't taste bad... More

My friend with her family from abroad was spending the holidays so we planned a trip to Bataan prior to their arrival. Our itinerary’s highlight was a visit and overnight stay at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar from December 21-22, 2014. Booking/Reservations We reserved our accommodations a month before our trip through Dhel, a helpful reservations officer in their Manila... More

I truly enjoyed my weekend at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar. It is a heritage resort highlighting the collection of old Filipino houses from different provinces in the Philippines, brought part by part to Bagac, Bataan. I find it amazing that I can marvel at beautiful architectures in the Philippines in one venue. There are several things that you can... More

Around 2.5 hours from Manila via NLEX-San Fernando and the new Lubao By-pass. I think this is a better route than the SCTEX. Hotel/Room: The family stayed at the Estero de Binondo, right across the wide and pristine beach. Construction is still on-going, but not really an issue. We stayed a building away from the temporary reception area; and the... More

If you are into history, culture and an appreciation of architectural designs of the past, then this place is for you. Here is where you find houses and buldings rebuilt, restored (to almost it's original style) with care and brought back to life by the owner of the property. You will not find only 4 or 10 or 15 houses... More

The moment you get inside, you will be awed. I can just imagine the labor of love that Mr. Acuzar and his people have put into this to reconstruct old houses into this whole place. Though there were no online booking, I sent an email inquiring about their rates. I got a reply instantly. I just made a call to... More
