This hotel was a great base for the FreshStart Bootcamp I attended in December 2016. It is about an hour away from Chiang Mai city and a quiet place. However most people come here for the detox programmes and of course the bootcamp. There are also villas here that you can buy or rent long-term. My experiences are as follows:... More

Out of the way, (we were heading north and wanted to stay out of town so it suited us) The buildings are dated, the new owner gave rooms a fresh coat of paint, but that's about it for "renovations". Very basic bathroom, OK swimming pool (too cold to swim in). Nothing really terrible - no springs poking through a mattress... More

We are staying here for 11 days on our Fresh Start Boot Camp. It is a truly beautiful and relaxing place. We have a Lanna Villa which is two floors. One bedroom, bathroom and dressing area upstairs with a huge living area, kitchen area and WC downstairs. It is very comfortable and the bed is amazing. It is situated in... More

This hotel now called The Pavana Chiang Mai Resort and Spa, the grounds are amazing and the staff was helpful too. It is located outside of Chiang Mai...about an hours drive (not 15 minutes)...so there is not a lot to do. We rented scooters provided by the hotel and that was nice. The restaurant seemed expensive to me ($28 for... More

The hotel changes name without updating us. The attitude of the staff was worse and the price for the room is not justified to the service you recieve. Plus, it doesn't include breakfest. Most of the things that are written in the menu are not avaliable. We highly don't recommend this hotel!

Nicki, the accommodation's manager, and the front-desk staff, are extremely charming and helpful. The resort is in a wonderful rural location north of Chiang Mai, with beautiful scenery, and the restaurant has a marvelous raw menu. Try the vegan cheesecake. Not to be missed is a free guided tour exploring all the exotic, tropical fruit trees growing within walking distance... More

This spa has recently changed its name to Pavana resort. Many changes are taking place to improve the resort as its under new ownership and management . A boot camp is also run here, plus excellent detox program. It's a peaceful setting in a organic farm land surrounded by rice fields. The yoga is excellent in a outdoor sala with... More

Better in marketing then in reality. The new Chinese owner have invested into this property to try to make it more luxurious. However there are still a lot of Mosquitos everywhere and the core is rustic. You have to spray yourself with mosquito repellent all day long. The mattress and pillows and everything was extremely tough. Had a hard time... More

You can choose to do self administered colonics for a deeper cleansing experience. There are a few limited options for yoga and fitness also. Accommodation is clean and simple and situated around the resort pool. Staff are... More
